Jet Pack Dilema

Jetpack Dilema

I have a little problem, wondering with all your brains out there if someone can help me out. I bought a pack off someone on here a couple weeks ago and i painted it up and everything, the one problem I am facing is that it does not have a back to it. He threw in a sheet of Plastic..ABS or Sintra..not sure. OK..so any ideas on how I can attach this to the rest of the pack and it be strong enough to hold the weight of the pack? I would imagine I would have to set up the harness using this as the base. With such little surface area touching the sheet around the pack I doubt a glue or an epoxy would work. The rocket is solid resin and with a PVC tube holding it in place, the pack has some weight to it. Any help or suggestions would be great. I can add pics if need be.. thanks

Jason

you could always put the fixings in the main pack itself, and then after affixing the back plate, just have holes that the straps go through to, this should be easily strong enough

that is what I was thinking.. WHat would you suggest on using as a clamp or hinge to hold the harness? and what would you suggest to attach it securly to the inside?
