Jeremy's NEW Shin Tools

Hi everyone

I've been asked to build and paint a set of shin tools for the 'Dressing the Real Fett' thread
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=23257.
Of course I was over the moon to be asked to help out with this :D. I decided to go the extra mile and make the largest tool flexible, just like the original 'Paterson' Squeegee.

I bought a 'Paterson' squeegee then sculpted the shin tool, making sure I kept the two halves separate. i then made moulds of these two pieces and made polyurethane resin copies, they turned really well. Below are the pictures showing the basic idea.

Wow, what a ridiculous concept!!
Send it to me for immediate disposal. . . that kind of stuff shouldn't be allowed.

Looks excellent! How cool.

It will be possible to make these tools, I just need to find a supplier for the compression springs. The ones on this set (Jeremy's) are the ones that were inside the original squeegee. I've found a couple of possible springs but so far they aren't quite right.... the hunt continues.
