Placed an order for the Aluminum Collar studs a few weeks ago (along with a few PM's), and I am still waiting for a response.

Hey Matt!:

Your studs came in today and all orders open will be going out either tonight or tomorrow. The machine shop I use was under heavy load and unfortunately they don't prioritize me over some of their huge contracts, so I've ordered much bigger quantities so I don't run out of things.

I apologize for the delay. I'm getting all of these orders closed out and then I will start getting to PMs and email inquiries to catch back up.

Maybe I don't understand the logistics of how to do it, but why has no one tried to make an all aluminum fett helmet? Too heavy, too expensive, what am I missing? I know you could not do it in one solid piece, a few bolt together pieces would probably get it done. Doing it this way could include something to slide the visor into, would eliminate glue and bolts. Any thoughts?

Someone has done a completely metal fett. Can't remember the name, but it was quite expensive. I think for comfort you would want something light yet durable....the metal would be too heavy.
