Interest?? Vest with attached neckseal, SA design

Hello All,

I have a new design. I am now attaching the neckseal to the vest. But the twist is, it looks screen accurate.

The neckseal is attached to the vest, it looks like it closes in the front, as it should to be Screen Accurate, but it actually closes in the back, just as the vest does. This will be much more convenient and easier when "Fetting up". ;)

I took one picture of the new design, front view only, and then shipped it.
Unfortunately, I did not take a pic of the back. It will close with velcro in the back.

Below is the picture of the front view. Not a good quality pic, but a pic nonetheless.

Here is the interest question. I am considering a run of these.

I DO NOT have Tackle Twill, for an indefinite amount of time. I can make these in a light grey cotton twill, for $100 shipped in the US.

Please let me know if you are interested. If you have any questions, ask away.

Thanks!

Looks great Debbi! With that seam in the front, it certainly looks like the closure is there! If I didn't already have some excellent works of your craftswomanship, I would snatch this up!!!

Yes, it does really open there, but I stitched it closed, rather than make the regular closures.

Then it opens with the vest in the back, for convenience.

Thanks Mike for the kind words!

What would the difference be in cotton twill and polly twill? Just the structure? or the actual feel of the material.

Also, what happened to that scrap tackle twill thread in the cargo hold?

The poly pro twill, or tackle twill, has been considered the most accurate to the screen used vest. The only place that I have been able to find it, in the correct color, is out of stock and will not have more until next year sometime.

The poly pro twill has a bit of a shine to it. Regular cotton twill would not have a shine.

I have seen other selling Boba Vest with a regular cotton, and they are very close to the screen used version.

I have lowered the price, due to the different fabric.

As far as the scraps, if you would like some, you can paypal $1.00 to debbi@ladysewforus.com, and I can send some out to you.

:cheers
