*INTEREST THREAD* FULL SIZE ARMOR SETS

Prymer13

Well-Known Hunter
HEY GUYS. I HAVE BEEN NOTICING ALOT OF QUESTIONS AND INQUIRIES ABOUT SIZING TEMPATES, AND PRINTING THEM AS WELL.
I AM A DRAFTSMAN AND HAVE DAILY ACCESS TO A DESIGNJET PLOTTER.
IF THE INTEREST IS THERE I COULD SEE ABOUT OFFERING PLOTTED TEMPLATES THAT WOULD BE GROUPED TOGETHER IN ONE SHEET.

PROBABLLY ABOUT 2'X3' OR SO. THIS WAY I CAN FIT ALL OF THE CHEST ARMOR, BOTH SHOULDER BELLS, THE COD PIECE, BACK PLATE, AND THE KNEE PIECES AS WELL.

IS THIS SOMETHING YOU GUYS THINK YOU'D LIKE TO DO?
LET ME KNOW
**UPDATE**
10/19/04:
Ok, I have the templates and come thursday I will have enough armor to complete atleast four extra sets, if not more. Here is what I am willing to offer:

1- Full set of armor (EVERYTHING seen in the drawings of the latest post) Cut out of .118" white sintra but NOT shaped. You will have to bevel the edges and create the battle damage, as well as assemble everything.
Everything for $75 shipped.

PM me if you are interested.

**UPDATE**
10/21/04 I have received several requests for armor sets AND plans so, if you want them PM me.
ARMOR SET: $75 shipped (U.S.)
TEMPLATES: $10 shipped (U.S.)
*UPDATE*
10/22/04 As a final option for the templates I have offered to e-mail PLT files to everyone that has expressed interest in the templates. With the PLT files on any disc (They are small enough to fit on a 3.5" floppy) Anyone can take the files to a local drafting or print shop where they can be plotted out for a reasonable amount.

INTERESTED IN ARMOR SET:
1. E2K13 (PAID)
2.
3.
4.

INTERESTED IN PLANS:
1. sargonkiadi
2. Kajitan E-MAILED

I received the templates in their many parts from Jodo-Kast last night. I am going to lay them out today and find out how much space they'll take up. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted.

OK, quick update, I have the chest, stomach, collar, and shoulder bells laid out. I think I should have enough room for the cod piece. BUT I think the back plate might be the begining of the second page, along with the knee "pads".

**UPDATE**

As stated earlier, first page us done, second is started, but I am lacking templates for the knee "pads".

If anyone has some then can send, I'd appreciate it.
Also, for scaling references, please also note a dimention, any dimension on it at all.

Thanks.

Well, I have finally extracted the last of the armor. Here is what I have so far:

Page one:
Collar, chest (2), stomach, shoulder bells (2), diamond and
knee parts (once I have them done...)

Page two:
Back plate, cod, and butt plate

Do you guys think I should add shins and thighs as well?
That way this armor can be for anyone doing any Fett.
If so, I need thigh templates. :D

Let me know guys.

I have finished the first set, they are missing the knee pads, but other than that, they have everything for a Boba Fett. :D

I sent the first set out for "proofing" and used a 9x13 inch envelope. It's what I use for sending plans here all of the time.

As far as cost, that is still up in the air. Between the cost of the paper, postage, and envelopes (along with the number of people wanting them already - 10) its not going to be as easy/inexpensive as I thought. I'll do the math and get a number by noon EST.

Ok guys here is what I have. Keep in mind the build-up for the outside of the knees is a multi-folded cut-out. It's in the top right corner. And it's like a die-cut, or a collapsed box ;)

Let me know what you guys think.

Those pictures do not give them justice.
I have seen them up close and completely think that they are top notch! I highly recommend them to anyone that is interested.
