Interest in ESB Rifle Sling V.2

Ok, it was brought to my attention that the slings I have done in the past may need some changing. I first started doing them a couple of years ago after someone here provided me with a photo from an old run done long ago. But after seeing photos from the Texas Fett Productions build. I noticed that there was a slight difference. At the end of the slings the end doesn't actually come back and get secured. It just flares off in a bent direction.

Its basiclly the same as I was doing execpt for the end piece. I know alot of us like to be as accurate as possible so they are going to be made just like the one in the photo. Some of you that purchased one in the past week got the new updated verison. But not all since this was brought to my attention after I had already sent some out.

My buddy who helps make some of the things here has gotten laid off last week. So I'm gonna try to put him to work.

I I hope to be done with the rest of the ammo belt by this weekend and help him knock out these by that weekend.

Heres the good part..Slings have always been $35 shipped in the past. But now they will be a little less from now on.

We are able to cut down on prices because of our new Splitting Machine. We can now skive down thicker pieces of leather to the thickness we want. This means we don't have to buy the precut strips, which use to cost about $7.00 pre strip. Now we can make out own. The machine was costly but we wanted get it because we knew we could cut costs for you guys as well as us. Thanks for looking.

I'd be interested in one of these as well, assuming it's not to late. I'm getting the swivel rings from FettDad and the rifle from Stormrider so I'll definitely be needing one of these....well assuming the rifle gets through customs that is.

Hey mate, I have a Sidewinder EE-3 - but I just don't understand how I should attach your sling (I have the old sling). Is there a special trick, or am I just a little thick? The leather sling seems too wide for me to get it through the rings. Any tips here?

you should just unscrew one of the chicago screws, place ring between the two pieces of leather and screw back in place.
