INTEREST: EE-3 sling mounts

hey guys, i was just wondering what kind of intererst there would be for the EE-3 sling mount...i would be using a stud (no, not you Dave) with a nickel ring to make these...and really, they wouldnt be that tough to make, if you would like info on how to make them yourself, i would be happy to show you where i got the hardware...i just know i have seen members looking for them, and i would love to make them for you guys...(y)

now, if you want to make them yourself, i would love to help ya out, however, you have to buy in bulk...so really, buy the time you pay for the 2 items needed to make these, you would have spent twice to three times as much as what i would charge for a pair of mounts...i am looking at around $10 for a pair...would not be more than that, and i would have to figure what shipping is, and of course guys across the pond there may be a little more shipping involved, but not much...(y)

so post here, not via pm, if you would be interested in a set of these for your ESB blaster...i would say i need about 10 committments to make it worthwhile, since i dont want to be stuck with a bunch of extra pieces... :cheers

i will post up some pics of what one would look like later tomorrow...

I PM'd you earlier about my interest, and you still have it! If you end up with to little interest I'd be willing to take a second set if needed.

What's up D! I have an ESB hyperfirm. I've got the rear ring, however I'm missing the front mount (I have a Taco sling, but haven't been able to mount it :facepalm ) I'm in, pending pics, or if you think that this will work out for me too (y)

P.S. Thanks for calling me a stud! :rolleyes Or were you talking about that 22ssplt guy?

ok guys, its a go!!! i am going to see if i can find some rings at walmart today, and try to get some pics up...woo hoo!!! i will update later today sometime with some pics...

ok guys, here are a few pics to show what these are going to look like...now, the ring that i am using in these pics is a "keyring", NOT the actual nickel ring i will actually be sending with these mounts...i couldnt find any in town, and have to order them online, from a pet bird website of all places :facepalm...now, the rings i will be getting are unwelded, and nickel plated...this way i can pry them open a little to get them onto the stud, then be able to close them back...(y)

i have measured one of Taco's slings (kind of a god send, Scooter, that i didnt send this sling with the blaster... ) and it measures right at 3/4" wide...so, i will be getting 1" rings, measured on the OUTSIDE DIAMETER, which will allow the sling to set inside the ring quite nicely...:cheers

After you hit ten, do you have to get another ten? Or is the first ten just a minimum? I'm interested in a set, too. :)
