As discussed yesterday I am sharing some important information about the nemrod holster used by Boba Fett. Information is Provided by my friend Jonathan Martinez a Nemrod collector from Spain. I have translate the orginal email from Spanish to English:

New found part information.

My friend and collector of nemrod parts just message me back with some interesting information about the holster used by Boba Fett. I am gonna translate since he if from Spain and his main language is Spanish.

"The first miniclipper appeared in the 1970, was color blue , in 1974 the orange mini clipper was produced with the holster, the closure or strap to hold the clipper was made of plastic, same material of the holster. In 1984 the strap was changed from plastic to rubber, the mini clipper stayed orange. In 1989 the minicliper experience changes in the ergonomic design but the holster stayed the same.
All the holsters came out of the mold with the plastic closure or strap, they realize the plastic strap was breaking and in 1984 the fabric started cutting the plastic strap from the holster and put the rubber one to replace it." This information was given by a nemrod employee to my contact.

So given this information I believe the nemrod holster generation 1 was used in the filming of the ESB, the strap made out of rubber was introduced in 1984.

Holster Generation 1 can be seen on the picture below on the left and generation 2 on the right.:
