I need a flight suit supplier

Hey guys, I remember seeing a few people post about their favorite tailors, unfortunately I cant find them lol, I would prefer someone with a website I can order from, I am currently looking at Bobamaker and Evolution Props. Bobamakers stuff looks better, but is also on the expensive side of Fett stuff, so any suggetions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Flight suit - LadySewforus, I have one of her suits, cannot speak highly enough of it.

For a cost effective suit i reccomend cuckblack BUT his ESB color is not correct you would need to dye it for rotj i dont know how it comes but ESB wasnt blue...its a decent suit for the price cant be beat

I googled cuckblack and couldnt find anything that wasnt porn related lol- a little more direction would help, as for ladysewforus, im still waiting on a quote. But thanks a very much, keep the suggestions coming if you have them.

I had Loanstar do my flightsuit. Really great work. The only "problem" I had with mine is that the shin pockets were a bit high, but even that was an easy fix with a little resewing.

Price isnt a limiting factor,Im a big boy now lol, I can afford my big boy toys, whay Im doing is shopping. Ive looked at bobamaker, and MOW( about to pick up the jetpack from him actually), Im still waiting on a few quotes also, Im just looking to make a smart buy, I dont want the cheapest suit if Im just going to have to do a ton of modifying, and I dont want to drop 400 bucks on a custom tailored suit if I can get one for two thats just as good. And thats why I asked here, everyone has litterally opened the store for me so I could do my shopping. Thank you all very much, and if anyone else has pics of their prefered suit please feel free to post, the more info I can get the better Ill be at making my choice.

Contract sold to MOW! He's got a good vest and flight suit combo deal going right now, plus ladysewforus never got back to me, cucblack's website is down, and loanstar is in my back pocket as another soft parts go to guy. Thanks for all the input from everyone!!!

For what it's worth albeit late; I just got my flightsuit and flak jacket from Bobamaker today. I used his weathering/painting service and I am very pleased. The quality is superb. The stitching, finishing and attention to detail is top rate. That MOW stuff looks great but being in Europe it makes more sense for me to use BM to cut down on shipping and duties etc. From what I've received today I'd definitely recommend BM.

I'm not seeing the huge price difference between her and other makers. (in fact, they are nearly exact)
What i am seeing is a huge difference in detail and accuracy.

Christi adds all the bells and whistles. There are many small details that other makers tend to overlook.
Not to mention, each suit is sewn to your dimensions, not just generic sizing or modified off-the-rack overalls that are modified.

I think my BM suit took nearly five months or so. Not that I mind. The communication was great from Daz and I always knew this was going to be a long project. Actually I'm kind of glad of the lengthy turnaround times as it allows me to space out the cost, which is going to be high for a decent set up.

Slave1pilot, looking good! bet you cant wait! and intwenonthor I completely understand, but if all goes to plan, I hope on attending Star Wars celebration VI in Orlando Fl, so waiting 6 months on my suit is cutting it a bit close, if you know what i mean, but by all means Im glad each and every one of you support your chosen tailors! I have contacted most of them (if not every one) myself, and I now how a shopping selection and better knowledge of where to go when I do need soft parts/ or sewing, so I thank you all! I too eagerly await my flightsuit and vest and hope its as good as advertised, and will post a full line up of pics.

Is this a two piece flight suit or one piece?

the write up said two peice with all the pouches and spats included, that works for me, itll make bathroom breaks easier.

Well here it is, already started dying it, letting it dry now, Ill add the weathering/ dirt to it later, mabey this weekend, OH Happy days!!!

Is the stitching not absorbing dye? It looks like it's still white.

Can you specify which stitching? Now Im all paranoid lol- the velcro, zipper and pull tie on the pants didnt take the dye, but from what I can tell all the edge stitching took well.

Yeah, a lot of the suppliers do the suits in white cotton that has to be dyed. I figured what the hell, it adds to the fun lol. After washing it the blue-ish came out and I got a wonderful ROTJ light grey out of it.

And it allows you to decide on a color instead of what the supplier has chosen as the color of choice not a bad thing at all.

I posted my finished (dyed, dryed and washed) pics on my other thread showing the faded light grey I was hoping for, hopefully this weekend Ill be able to get to weathering it and giving it that used dirty look, Ill post the pics on both and my other thread. So far Im very pleased with the outcome.
