I just struck gold....

...or maybe silver, but here I go.

I found these really nice parade gloves in IMS Plus, a military surplus store. I have purchased from them many times and their products are outstanding!

These are just $2.95 and in most sizes, from small to extra large.

Just scroll a bit down and look for the white parade gloves.

When i was in highschool, our marching band would wear those kinda gloves (minus the drumline, we weren't allowed to wear gloves haha). Ours were black tho. What you gonna use them for?

Well I am buying some gear from them so I said why not add these gloves to my order. Ill try my hand at making ESB gloves. Just dye them and sew on the white details.

they have the ridges on the tops of them, you'll need to remove that unless you dont care that much. there is a USA surplus or name similar that sells the ones without the ridges on ebay for about 4.00-5.00 a pair if you were interested in a little more accuracy and not having to try to remove the ridges.

no, cause they extend all the way to the fingers, and the patches on the tops of the hand go right in the middle, the ridges stick out a bit beyond where the patches of fabric go :(

I would think you could remove the stitching that creates the ridge though maybe? though I cant post ebay links that arent my own auction for a couple dollars more the slightly correct ones are on ebay for less than 5.00.

though honestly, 90% of people wouldnt notice it, 501st GMLs might. just trying to help out a bit in that respect, but if this is just a project on the cheap not for 501st then most people in the general public wouldnt really say anything to you about it. but since it was only about 2.00 difference I thought I would throw it out there :)

Not to whizz in anyone's cheerio's but... In addition, the original were "button-closure" so if accuracy is your thing, you'll need to get that style. I don;t know the exact link, but the "paradestore" online sells the right ones, and for dirt cheap too, maybe $5 or under.

those are probably what I am trying to think of. I cant for the life of me remember exactly the name of the store, but a few people have them. and yeah, totally right around 5.00

I believe the link I posted to the gloves are button closure. However, I see what you guys mean about the ridges and having to remove them. Oh well, I might not even add these to my order.
