hey bud, I use velcro on the back of the strap. That keeps it in place, then when you wear the belt, they hold in place due to the fit of the belt to your body.
Hope that helps.

Thanks bro. That is what I am doing now I just notice that the velcro on the back of the strap starts peeling overtime... it still stays but I was wondering if there was a solution to that.Sidenote, how are those awesome packs coming?

I feed the belt through the loops on the Pouches

i was tryin to figure out if i could add snaps...
i need to look at some pics, but if the pouches hang behind the ammo boxes, then snaps is the way to go id think.
EDIT: Yup they hang behind the ammo boxes,so id add snaps, probably on the backs of the ammo boxes themselves, doing it this way would also keep the boxes from sliding apart.

I ran a 2 inch webbing through the back of the ammo boxes on the backside of the belt, ran the webbing through the loop of my pouches and riveted it just to the webbing to itself off on on end. Basically just making a horizontal secure loop behind each set of ammo boxes. Way less destrutive and permanent than buttons, snaps and/or velcro...
I can post pics later on to show it better. It works well for me and if I ever wanted to upgrade/sell all I'd have to do is drill out the rivets from the webbing.
I'd be very curious to see pics of that escho34 if you ever have some spare time

It's a snap.

Well, here you go...Ask away if you have any questions. It's a super simple way to do this. In place of rivets you could use almost anything, snaps, velcro, hot glue, etc. I just fine this way way easy, less damaging to the belt and easy to remove to sell or upgrade belt and/or pouches...

Esho, nice work. I'm gonna go that route!
No sweat...glad I could help. It should take about 10 minutes to get it all set. Just make sure you use 2 inch webbing so the pouches don't droop!
OooOOoO i like that method escho34! nice job! i may just do that as well! i may "up" it one notch and use a strip of leather, since i have some scrap layin around.
I like your idea on that Escho!!!! Think i will swith over to that as well!!!
