hi everyone i'm new to the site and building a Fett Costume.

I'm Eddie and I just joined the site. I'm in plans right now to build my own Fett suit. I just ordered a 4' x 8' sheet of sintra 1/8" inch thick and am getting a mannequin to mold it onto. I want to be more of a lifesize replica ya know? Anyway, thanks for checking out this thread and if anybody can give me some words of wisdom and maybe some detailed tips i'd really appreciate it. Look forward to hearing from ya and wish me luck looks like i'm gonna need it!

Welcome to TDH. The Wizard of Flight (WOF) templates should help you with the armor.

Welcome! The wizard of flight templates WTFett mentioned are great. I'm quite new here as well, and found that sintra is a lot easier to work with than I had anticipated. Boil a big pot of water and dip the sintra pieces (once cut out) and after 15-20 seconds are easily formed. The first time I tried it, I admit, I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but trust me, forming the armor, knees and what ever else is quite simple. Good luck!
