Help with closing gautlets

I used heavy duty Velcro but some people do the pin method. That's where you put more hinges on the other side but make the pin removable. So to open you just pull the pin out .

I use piano hinges on one side and popper closures on the other. A little tricky to close, but this way the gaunts will never come off accidentaly!

The bottom part of the poppers is riveted through a small, square polystyrene piece which is laminated into the gauntlet using fiberglass. The upper parts are simply riveted on a polystyrene strip. I keep one side a little bit longer for better handling when closing/opening
