Harness Help?

Hi everyone!

Last night was the first time I wore my entire costume and my harness is getting pulled right up to my throat. I made a harness from webbing. one bit to go around my chest/abdomen, and two straps over my shoulders with little lengths of webbing sewn into the top coming off my back to connect to my jetpack. But wearing it, the jetpack pulls the webbing that is meant to go over my chest to my throat. And makes it chokes me a bit, not to mention the strain on my shoulders. How have you guys home-made your harnesses? I have got 3 days to sort out a new one for Comic-Con in London on Sunday!

My harness is made of webbing to. I have it going across my nipples basically. I have it clipped very tightly so it actually holds in my chest (yes I'm a fat guy. lol!) It only moves a tiny bit after a long while but its fairly stable. You might have to just make your shoulder straps a little longer. Hope this helps!
