I got the genius idea (well, I think it is) to build Mando armor out of campaign signs. They're fairly sturdy and as long as I continue to drive around at 2am they're free.
I've found that they shape well in the oven, or in boiling water (haven't tried a heat gun yet, but soon) and they're nice to work with. The only problem is that they are corrugated plastic, and when they are shaped, you can clearly see the vertical lines of the inner cell.
I figured that I could put a layer of Bondo over everything, or some other sort of overlay...does anyone have suggestions?
P.S. I'm new here, and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong area...it seemed like a good idea at the time.
