Anyone that bought these lights can convert them to 1.5volts so you can use a AA or AAA battery.

What you need is tiny light bulbs found in hobby stores where model railroad supplies are sold. THe bulbs are called
"Grain of wheat 1.5v lightbulbs"

On your Halo light, take of silver sticker that says 220vac...then with needle nose pliers twist on bottom black
plastic. This will seperate red light housing and bulb assembly. Insert your new grain of wheat bulb into red housing and reuse tiny black housing cover once old bulb and diode are removed.

Hope this makes sense!!
