As mentioned above, using a solder iron to help punch the holes in the web belt is a big+++.

Mine looks the same, although I Dremeled the two prongs off the right side, since they weren't necessary. It also keeps them from clinking when I walk.

After I got my girth I was able to figure it out along with the reference pics.I had some nylon straps leftover from my jet pack harness.Pretty cool having a real girth now.I cant wait till next Halloween :D

What I did was to use the very same black nylon webbing, using small grommets to look like the shoes "holes" and I used both sides of the nylon webbing to do that...about 3 to 4 holes per side, so it could be adjustable at any time.

I went with the movie version and used leather straps in lieu of the MoM nylon version. I'd love to post pics, but my camera is about two hours away from me and it'll be another week or so before I get it back.

Howdy!!!
I have A mohair girth.I tried to bleach it rit color remover.
Then tried to dye it several times.No luck at all.So I painted it!!Looks pretty damn good to me.Just the right amount of brown and red.So,That brings me to my question.How can I keep the paint from running onto my new jumpsuit?(Rubbing off over time,onto the jumpsuit)Wash it? Soak it?
Does anyone have an idea or two?

My girth was done the same way as yours, I never had a problem with anything coming off and on to the jumpsuit ever.

Don't forget, most of your girth will be over the cod and butt plate any way, so alot of the girth won't be touching the jumpsuit any way.

I wouldn't worry about it, 3 years and never had a problem.

My new girth on my display is also done the same way.

Well... I have a problem with that happening if the event done is incredibly hot. I did two outdoor events in the blazing 90 degree sun ALL DAY and it happened. Even then though it wasn't all that bad but it did happen.

Well, I wanted to use leather straps, but I didn't find leather anywhere. Nylon straps was the best choice, and easier way from "Wally-world".

Alright, here is the trial, I just ordered on the phone with them and made them repeat 5 times ALL MAROON, no natural color, ALL MAROON, NO D-RINGS in the middle, just like what is PICTURED...I also had them write ALL this information down on my order.

I also told them that there had been screw ups what those screw ups have been in the past. If they nailed this order, then I would simply have everyone reference my account order # and name so as to not get this screwed ever again.

My cost total came out to be 42 dollars and some change (after shipping and all) and is expected in a week. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED !!!

I hope it works out for you!!! I've been debating ordering one of these for quite some time now, but my fett buget is pretty tight right now, & I was scared I wouldn't get the right belt. Can't wait to hear how yours turns out...got my fingers crossed.:)
