Check out tk409's tutorial. TK409.com Do-It-Yourself Star Wars Props - BOBA FETT COSTUME PROP ARMOR TK-409 About 60% down on the page in the middle Girth (rope) belt.
go to this website Victory Canter English Tack & Apparel - Horse Tack - Girths - Synthetic/Comfort - Non Slip Mohair Girth order one, wait about a week. 18 bucks. I bet you can't make one for much less especially if you count your time.
oh yeah and actual length is 4 inches shorter than listed. example 38 inch belt will be 34 inches tip to tip.
hmmmm.... mullreel is that what you used?
i got my girth from them, it's good stuff.
cool. i mite do the tk409 thing. make it myself and not worry about shipping. you dont see much of it anyway ya no
I have used them and from the time I ordered to the time I had it in hand was less than a week. They were easy to work with and the free shipping seals the deal for me. My time is valuable and I pay myself more than 15 bucks an hour, so for 18 total I know that I couldn't construct one in less than an hour.
I got mine from them and then dyed it, and painted it until I got the color I wanted.
And.... I am going to be offering finished belts anytime now so if you are intrested shoot me a PM
woodman im probably going the makke my own route. but if i change my mind ill give you a holler
if you dont make one, horseloverz.com ....centaur non-slip mohair girth 34" got mine today $18, cant go wrong with that just needs dyeing..
Hey Woody, I will take 2 when you get going![]()
ive decided to build my own i bought the material today for like 12 dollars so yea thats what im goin to do
any tips on dye colours for an ESB belt? I've seen some brown ones, but am thinking more of an oxblood reddish brown.
