Girth Belt question - Will this one work?

I have seen some links for natural colored girth belts, but I did some digging and found this.

I realize a lot of people dye theirs a dark reddish color, but rather than starting with a white one, does anyone here think this one will work?

I look at some of the older ESB pics and there are some that look very brown. IF this isn't too dark, I thought it might work and just tinting it with some stain might help. Besides I like a more subdued look and some of the red belts I have seen look too maroon for me. Let me know what you guys think!
