From the Cargo Hold Code of Conduct:

The belts should arrive next week and then I will get started on them right away. just in time for Halloween!!!!!!

UPDATE: whoever is running the warehouse at the horse shack needs to take a course in customer service. those "cowboys" shipped me the wrong girths?? but not to worry fella's, I have been told that they will next day ship the correct ones to me on Tuesday. we are still on schedule to mail these out before Halloween so don't worry. just thought I'd let you all know what's going on so far.

just wanted everyone to know that we are safe here in San Diego, the fires didn't ruin our home but sadly many many people here don't have a home to go to. our hearts go out to all the families who suffered and lost everything. our thoughts and prayers are with you all. a quick thank you to all the members who took time and wrote to me concerning my health and safety, you guys are AWESOME. it really means a lot! this community really is a family.

I am starting up the belts tomorrow (still not feeling 100% from the smoke inhalation) and will try to get them out as soon as possible thank you all again for you support and paitence.

Wahoo! Well I have a svelt 36" waist (before lunch ) So I guess maybe a 32" belt will be right. If they make a 33" that would be even better.

the same Mojo-Fett, a 33" belt. you figure you have to allow for the flight suit and Cod piece. I also include the accurate black nylon straps so you can adjust it where you want. thanks for your question my friend.....

DOH! Cheers for clearing that up bro... I thought I'd have to go either way of my actual size? but forgot about the nylon straps!!

You know what? Based on that info I better get a 38" belt. Forgot that this sits low on the hips and has to fit over the cod, and that it shrinks a bit. Hope it is not too late to change that - sorry.

are the threads that tie the strands together mohair or are they nylon like most of the girthbelts being sold now a days? If there mohair I might be interested in one.

I 'm pretty sure they are nylon evan, which makes color matching the two materials a nightmare. after a while, I've heard that the nylon tends to lighten up a little. some people touch up the faded area with spray paint which works very well. thanks for that great question.

thanks Damian, that means a lot bro espeacially what we went through to get em done. I can't say enough to you guys for your continuing support. I know you've all been waiting for these and I'm just sorry I couldn't get them to you before Halloween. the first batch were left outside for a week in the harsh enviroment like smoke and ash and had to be done again but they turned out pretty good considering. thanks to Whistle8mp (Mike) for the advise on saving the damaged belts. his idea to use the Latex Stain was brilliant! these belts are better than ever and unlike the Rit and any other dye we're used to using, his method is by far the best. the colors were easier to match the movie stills and took out most of the guess work in trying to create the desired color. so thanks again Mike. I need a few days for these bad boys to dry fellas then they will be shipped out asap.

Sorry you will not be doing another run for a while Ben, but totally understandable. Well, these turned out great. Think I will try the paint method on mine - that seems to work pretty well.

BTW - the strap attachment pic is not showing up for me.

Got my belt today. I figured these were gonna be good judging by the pics, but now that I have one in my hands, IMO it confirms what I posted earlier. I gotta say, that in all my years at TDH, this is definately the best girth belt I have ever seen offered for an ESB suit!!!! He nailed it!!!! Thanx Bounty!!
