Gauntlet switch attachment and jet pack question

Hello,

I am working on some awesome MoW Gauntlets right now, and just drilled out the holes for the darts and toggle switches. The switch isn't going through all the way due to some excess material and reinforcement fiberglass. Is it ok to carefully dremel this out using a grinding bit? Is that pretty typical? Sorry if this is. Ridiculously dumb question.

Also, in a unrelated note, I am also working on a ESB jet pack, and have a question about the piano keys. Do most of you mask those on and spray/airbrush those, or use a brush by hand? I am ordering Boxcar Red for this color.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

I did not mask out the keys. I just painted them over with a brush. If you go with thin coats and a wide brush you will not see any lines.

Thanks to you both. Very helpful! Having some unseasonably warm weather in the Chicago area, so hopefully going to get some more work done on both the jp and gauntlets over the next few days. I took the day off yesterday and got a ton of clean-up work/priming done, and am having a blast with the whole process.
