Gauging interest in chest lights

I'm about to head-off to work (nothing like 5AM jobs), so I can't check deep into it right now. However, here's how I ship out the lights:

I have a list of screen names, showing who was interested, and marked with who paid. As I make a batch of lights and box them, I go to PayPal and look-up the history. I only received a couple of money orders (and that was near the end), so I use the PayPal history to tell me what order payments were received, and send them out accordingly.

With that said, I have nearly 1/2 of the orders sent out, and just over 1/2 built (some are sitting here nearly done). So I'm expecting to have the full run wrapped up in 3 more weeks tops (of course, earlier if possible).

Thanks,

As usual, I'm late to the party, but I wanted to add my two cents. I own a set of ShackMan's lights (my second set, actually), and I couldn't be more pleased.

I prefer them to the Tk409 version for a couple of reasons. Having a darker LED base makes the 'background' easier to subdue behind the tinted plastic of the chest plate. And to me, they are just the right brightness.

Here's a video comparison of the two (ShackMan on top, TK409 on bottom) that Evan4218 and I shot about a year ago, complete with a complimentary karaoke background soundtrack:

Shackman, I recieved my chest light a couple of days ago but haven't had a chance to get online to confirm delivery, sorry about that. Couldn't be more pleased. Can't complement highly enough on the quality of work. Amazing workmanship, and community here on the TDH. A big thanks to you Shack and everyone else here offering such services for the time, effort, and craftmanship provided. Wish I had joined sooner. Again, thanks much Shackman, all I can say is, "Wow, look at the pretty lights", (as I plug it in and stare at it at 2:30am, AGAIN, lol). Great work and to those still waiting for the mailman or on the fence about picking up a set, just wait, you won't be dissapointed, grab em while you can.

Thanks for the great write-up Napalm, glad you like them (I was up at 2:30 AM BUILDING more sets ...). ;)

Fan appreciation is what it's all about. Maybe some day I'll be able to put a set in my own armor. :)

Oh, and all PMs sent/replied to. :)

Thanks,

OK, this week's update:

I sent out a few sets yesterday, and a few more today (saved it for one update). So as it stands now, there are only 9 sets remaining from the original list of paid orders ... and a couple of newcomers. ;) So if you have a PM from me, keep your eyes open. If not, I have the next 6 pieces started, and will be complete on my next day off (probably Monday).

Thanks again,

Late call. ;)

There is no more interest list. I'm in the process of completing orders now. If anyone else wants a set, just contact me and make a payment ... guess that's how you get on the list. No longer collecting interest, but collecting payments and making deliveries. :)

Thanks,

Just got back from work (Wee!), and all PMs have been replied to. Here's the update for this week:

I didn't make it out to the post office this week, but I'm still on track for my last target ... which is to have ALL orders done next week. I have 7 or 8 sets sitting here ready for boxing, and only a few more orders left to build. It'll be Monday before I can work on them again, but should be able to finish those remaining orders within a couple of days "free time".

Thanks again to all who ordered, and to all who have let me know theirs arrived. The end is near ... ;)
