Flight Suit Color

Do I need to go darker? I freaking went through 3 different dyes a gallon of bleach and one package of dye remover. It was first dark blue almost black from the royal blue package. then I bleached it thinking it would lighten it up that turned it purple. I ran a few more bleach cycles witch made it grey then I used the dye remover that brought it to a wheat color. I then used like an baby blue which is where we are now. I do have some denim blue. should I leave it alone and just run with it or go a shade darker?

Kinda hard to tell with the lighting. Looks a little dark still. You might try washing it a bunch with some clothes that dont matter if they get a little discolored and see if it lightens some?

I will try it on tonight with the vest and armor pieces and take a new picture in person it looks blue this picture makes it look green

Looks pretty dadgum good to me. As has been mentioned before screen accurate is hard to determine because of lighting from ESB. Bespin hallways mostly white interior depends on white balance of the camera. Carbon chamber with all the red/yellow lights gonna do weird ghings to it. I'll see if I can't look at some ref pics tonight and maybe white balance/color correct them. I know on the right gaunt we have some "true" black and some white on the whipcord housing.

Cyber - I did some playing with an ESB Bespin hallway pic in both Photoshop and Lightroom. Setting a custom white balance didn't really make a big change in either one. I used both the black on the whipcord housing and the white of the wall. The white on the whipcord was looking a little off white so I went with the wall instead. I'd like to see your suit in the daylight, and by that maybe on a cloudy day because if it's too sunny it's liable to blow out on your camera and maybe appear too white. My gut is that you've nailed it, but I know you want it accurate so we'll take a look at it if you want to take some more pics.
