First try at painting armor.

First time painting some armor, looking for feedback. Hopefully the attachment works, I followed the color list I saw in deathproofs rotj build.

Looking good! Might need a bit of work on the weathering but definitely on the right track! If you could post better photos with different lighting we might be able to comment on it a bit more.

Yeah I thought that may be a problem, my garage is kind of dark and weird lighting maybe I'll try outside. So far for weathering I've just got some black and grey sprayed on it a bit. Not really sure what else to try as I've never done it before but maybe some chalk? I'll get some better pics later. Also are my shoulders and knees too dark, I've seen some pics much lighter but some more like what I've got. Thanks for the help.

With better lighting I would be able to tell for certain. I don't want to be the blind leading the blind here since I'm in the process of making my first ROTJ SE, but from the references and from other builds I've seen they look decently spot on. I would check out Ponte's paint ups, that guy is so meticulous and a perfectionist.
