    Jan 26, 2010, 7:34 PM - Finished Homemade Boba Boots #1

    Hey guys!
just wanted to show you my finished Boba boots for my ROTJ costume.
To make a long story short, I couldn't afford the $90 CA boots, so I went to Khols and bought a pair of leather boots for 15 bucks, got some thin leather edging, some citadel paints and this is what happened.
The overall cost was roughly $25. I'm working on the toe spikes currently, so stay tuned for future pics!

Love it! It's like the Boba Fett bowling league. Great imagination. Looking forward to see the full blow budget Boba Fett. Keep us posted. Just remeber this is a sickness. Once you start, you will be in a perpetual state of upgrading.

    HA! Tell me about it!
Yeah, these boots are alittle short and square-toed, but I figured the spats would cover the ankles. Thanks for the compliments!

Nice looking boots there! Did you add the piping yourself or did they come that way already?

    Thanks!
I applied the piping myself with hot glue. Sounds weird I know, but i tried using super glue and as soon as i put them on, the piping cracked off! Hot melt glue seems to work pretty well.

Cool!... for mine I used Goop. It's flexible and rubbery after it dries so it won't come off when walking.
