Finished! 11/9 (Question regarding the flashtube part...)

Now,it has occured to me, because the vader FX has a similar to the proper flash tube. Has anyone taken a vader FX hilt and just dismantled that to use? Will it even work?

Edit: Pics in last post!

Yes I would imagine it is oversized. I have a Luke ESB ForceFX and next to my real graflex it is a good 5-8% (don't ask where I got that number:D) so I would imagine the Vader ANH ForceFX is of similar proportions in size larger.

Also, one other question. Which end of the flashtube goes in the barrel of the gun? The battery end, or the bulb end in which you cut down the battery end?

All of the Force FX lightsabers are about 10% larger than the original screen used props in order to fit all of the electronics inside

I remember that I considered this a few years ago, but I never got any real good answer. I ended up to just break down and buy a real Heiland.

One other thing that has occured to me. The accurate mounting of it? As in where the holes are supposed to be positioned properly?
