FINAL COSTUME PIC!!!!Never thought I would say this...but I am DONE...

Attachment 65204Attachment 65205Attachment 65206Attachment 65152After over 3 years and roughly $2-3 grand (I stopped counting for fear of crying like a baby), countless worthwhile,well enjoyed hours, and a lot of both frustration and sense of accomplishment, I am mere hours away from finishing my Fett...By hours, I mean actual working hours. I spent my last bonus check on upgrades for my ROTJ Fett (approved long ago for the 501st). He is now going to officially be a Special Edition fett with the addition of my new ESB bucket and 12 pouch ammo belt. I have a new vest/neckseal, jumpsuit, wookie braids, cape, some new gaunts I need to modify, and new gloves. I also have a nifty new (to me) foam ee-3 for trooping. Pictures will follow once I get a few more pieces in, and weather them, fit my armor on them, and take em for a test drive. That being said, after I purchased all these upgrades, I noticed my wallet still had $150 bucks in it...What did I do, you ask? I bought a partially painted Pre Pro 2 (AFettFullof$$...YOU ARE A SUPER TALENTED DUDE!!!) ASOK cold cast...A man has to have a hobby...so, I guess I need to start on my next build.

O.K. I have to admit that I am already tying to figure out how to afford a couple more upgrades....In hindsight, I think I wrote this post a couple days after breaking my foot, late at night, on vicoden...I'm totally never gonna be done. I really really really want the R.C. motorized rangefinder now...

Attachment 64903 My wookie braids and cape came in today...budget bicycle light chest display in, costume is complete-ish...trooping tomorrow in it, still waiting on some upgrades that should be here by the weekend. Running tomorrow with my old ammo belt and old gloves unless the upgrades come. Hopefully get some good pics, call this another teaser.

I feel satiated, but not completely satisified....this will be a constant work in progress....I am currently mounting my aker mic inside the helmet, I cut off the metal earpiece and attached the mic with velcro just above where the chin skirt mounts....I then run the cord down the neckseal thru the jumpsuit and out a tiny hole just above the side pouches to the speaker.
