Fiberglass Reinforcement

I'm starting my new gauntlets this week, and I was wondering if fiberglass reinforcement (on the inside) might be an option.

How is this process done? Expensive? What materials will I need?

I tried to do the same thing with my armor, which I ended up with the baskside kinda sticky, specially at the edges, leaving marks in my vest. I probably didn't mix the resin too good with the hardener or something.

I fixed the problem already. About the process, I strongly suggest to do that BEFORE you paint your armor, add velcro and/or assemble the gauntlets, the paint will cover any mistakes, and the gauntlets because it's just a hassle and difficult to do that while they're assembled. Just my 2 cents.
