I hope you do have ref pics the rest of us dont on the sheath area being cut away. I am not sure its cut away quite like this replica it but I only have a few decent pictures.
I could really do without the guide holes for the replacement strap though. It doesnt make sense to have them in the mold. Who knows it anyone with ever have to make this mod? For those who may have to in the distant future, its not too hard to place holes for rivets in the right spot; especially if FP is doing a placement diagram too.
I know the indentations are tiny but it still bothers the heck out of me knowing something was deliberately made a part of the mold for the replica which was not on the original holster and therefore has no place being there. Arent we all striving for accuracy here?
Other than that it is very nice work. I see the mold must have been a bear to make indeed.
A couple of things on this -
The indentations you refer to - I'm sorry brother, but that is just a bit too knit pick Technically they're are on the original holster - as holes for rivets on the second version they produced They are very shallow, surely if it bothers an individual, they can be lightly sanded out Remember, they are on the back. This was actually a courtesy. Unfortunately, considering what went into making the mold, I simply cannot justify remaking the mold for these two little impressions.
As far as the sheath pocket is concerned - as I said in my posting about this already, there is a picture that verifies that it is cut this way - what was left to the imagination is exactly how much of a "spine" was left. It is deductive reasoning that dictates how much was left in this case. If they didn't remove the whole pocket, logic would say that it was because they were preserving the logo. Otherwise, there would be no spine at all that is evident, and 1/4 inch of the logo would be missing. If preserving the logo was in fact the case, there really is only one way to cut it allowing it to taper into the bottom of the holster to almost nothing as the picture suggests. Eventually, the picture in question will be shared publicly, but that is up to "Official Pix" as to when - sorry But the general theory behind providing the replica as the pictures show - is to consider the possibility that it may have been cut closer, actually nipping off the logo. This leaves room for correction later, if new reference comes available that proves differently. In other words, leaving a wee bit of room to spare, so that a member can modify it further later (if even necessary), without having to purchase a new holster Also, a courtesy
Of course we're all striving for accuracy? But when we do not have 100% proof positive reference on any particular detail, it's all "best guess work" and deduction. What else can we do? So I tend to take the safest route - I thought that it would have been more appreciated
We do what we can with what we have until something better/more accurate comes along. In this case, I'm rather glad I was so badly out of things when I first found TDH. In the years between when I found the board and when I was finally in a position to join, a lot of R&D has been taking place here. I have a very clear before and after picture of the state of things then and now.
I have loved seeing all the revelations of found parts and formerly obscure details being jumped upon and shared and picked over eighteen ways from Sunday. I'm thrilled to see the number of remaining ambiguities and unanswered questions/unsourced bits dwindling as more and more comes to light.
This holster looks to be closer than anything I've seen elsewhere (and I've seen a lot of good work being done in this area), and is a **** sight closer than anyone hoped for a decade ago.
Looking awesome guys!
very well made and clean... (despite mould grime)
This looks to be a perfect addition to the sidearm... well done to all concerned!
Hope the info I sent was useful Chris?
I agree with the sheath decision, it is always easier to take material off than to put it back! so if left this way each individual can modify to their own preference. Until of course we get some Holy grail of holster pic...
i appreciate ya, Chris!

Ok, after discussing it further with kbrosseau, I'm going to nip the little nibs off of the mold that make the two replacement strap impressions. There will be a minor trace of where they used to be, but they will be positive, instead of negative (impressions). Which means that they can be lightly sloughed off - and it will be done before each one is shipped. He's absolutely right in that if the strap ever does break later, a template guide will be more than enough. But I will still include a replacement strap as a courtesy
Glad things got sorted!
PP sent Chris,
Ive not been paying close attention but WOW! Gonna be from now on -
Should I shoot off a PM about shipping to Ireland?
Great work - looking forward to picking up one of these bad boys
Thanks Chris! Sorry to be abrupt in my post everyone. Just trying to make a better product by constructive criticism
Paypal sent. This holster looks absolutely amazing. I don't know how you got that mold so perfect. Great work!
I have to pass, little short on money right now.
PP to be sent this weekend !!!! Thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PP sent on this. Thanks for the hard work.
Please note address change with PP. I recently moved from where you sent my last FP order. Thanks again.
Just a small update :
Now that the first 10 have paid, I have ordered more materials. It's usually a 3-5 day turn around on that not including the weekend. In the meantime, I'll use what I have to get as many done as possible while finishing up a few things for other members. This is looking really good for the end of the month timeline. Of course, the later the payment, the longer this stretches out into next month though. So just an FYI that if you pay later, the later you will receive your holster because it will have to be made once payment is made
** UPDATE **
Hi everyone !
Ok, so this is some news for sure. Without telling anyone - I took the liberty to RE-MAKE the mold this last weekend in between getting some orders tied up for other members. It was eating at me after the discussion about the "indentations" After doing a few more test castings (to learn to use the new mold properly, I also discovered that there were some imperfections glaring at me during the process that made me conclude that the mold just will not due - as nice as Mojo's Side Arm is - can't have you guys dressing it up with newspapers, when it's a black tie event ! So a slight delay , but the materials aren't due until Wednesday anyway.
Now BAD NEWS !
Materials. I've deemed that the material that was originally chosen will also not work. Worst case scenario, I will use it if I have to, but it's taking waaaay to long to demold each piece. When we're talking as many members as we are as far as interest goes, we'll be doing this until Hallowen So I've decided to try something different. If it doesn't work out, then it just doesn't. The fall back is the first chosen material. In which case, I'll just have to pull as many a day as I can, and y'all will have to promise to still love me in spite of my speed
K. Gotta run. It's 9:30 PST and I pulled an all nighter. I'm getting too old for this
Chris don't worry about how long it takes. I can't believe you re-did the mold. I thought they looked awesome as they were. Thanks for your dedication. Go get some rest.
Crazy man Chris. I cant believe you redid the mold. Very cool though!
I am glad you also found some other things to tweak to make it better.
I agree with FettFanatic, Get some rest.
Payment sent. Thank you again for making this holster for us!
Yes I do have an original, but you are correct. I just could not pass on this one. I signed up before I got the real one, but fettpride did such a great job...
How could I not get one?!?!
Again, thanks for doing such amazing work fp!
PP was just sent THANK YOU!!!
Please let me know how much more s&h to Germany will be.
Is the 1st page going to be updated? I sent in PP last week, still doesn't show on front page.
Sorry about that guys and gals ... I just sent GBH a PM with the updated payee info. I've been hard at work getting this bugger sorted out The mold for this thing really is just a plain pain But I should have the mold done Wednesday and be able to crank out the first 10 and hopefully get them cured and shipped by the following Monday (a week from today). Lets keep our fingers crossed This thing really is going to be a beauty now !!!
Ok guys, list updated! Thanks for everyone's interest and commitment to this project! I think FP can be his own worst enemy at times, being such a "Perfectionist" and all , but in the end, it all works to our advantage!
Thanks again for all the great work you do.
Chris, any update on how things are going? Did you find a better material to use? Is the new mold working better or are you going to have to fight and finesse each one out? No hurry bro, just curious about the process. I am most appreciative that you are doing this run of accurate holsters.
It's funny you should mention it - I was just about to post an update
The short of it is, yes, each one will inevitably have to be finessed I like how you put that
Mold 2.5 is almost complete. I had a bear of a time with it and had to re-do half of the new one. I think GBH is absolutely right .. I am my own worst enemy
The problem is as I said, the original was manufactured and injection molded. What I'm desperately trying to accomplish is that manufactured look, following the original seam lines ect.
The upside to all of this, is one failed mold taught me really fast, where all of the faults were or would be so that it could be improved for production. I've been fairly lucky over the years where the first mold is most always gold. But from time to time a piece can be complex enough where you need endure some trial and error. Rest assured guys and gals, I'm doing the best I can to make the most faithful repro that can be made without manufacturing facilities With the kind of material being used, we want the least trimming of flashing possible. This material can't be sanded or anything without ruining the pretty black finish. So the idea is to have the lightest flashing that can be trimmed off with an exacto knife and not have to get out a dremel
There is some other good news too - the original material I chose (that I have 10 gallons of) is going to work just peachy. I didn't know there was a way to accelerate the curing. A fortunate side effect of the acceleration process is that it makes the finished casting feel more like the orignal injection molded vinyl (rigidity) with greater flexibility instead of an over all feel of a tire rubber (which only the straps should be).
Good stuff on it's way We're almost there

sorry if i skipped it ...... do you have a price shipped to germany?
***IMPORTANT UPDATE*** ***TDH INPUT NEEDED***
Ok guys and gals - some interesting developments here. I'm going to discuss this further with GBH too. This is pretty important, but this may upset the whole order of things now
After analyzing some more picture reference, I've come to about a 97% conclusion that the screen used ESB holster is the second issue holster that was talked about earlier in this thread. Not the one with the molded strap (1 st version), but the one with the RIBBED RUBBER add-on pistol grip strap.
Below is a picture you're all familiar with, but lightened up in PS considerably. If you look closely at the strap. you can see the ribs. Marked up in green.
But also pay close attention to the end of the strap where the snap is. It's turned up at the end. This only happens on the rubber strapped version of the holster (we have both). Marked up in green
I'll leave it up to TDH on this. It's for TDH, so this should be your call. While we're at it, I've also marked up the trim job (for the pistol grip) to show an idea of where we came up with this. It's marked up in red. There is better evidence but obviously cannot be published openly yet. At least you can see the method behind the madness as some have requested But you can see the shine where the smooth contour of the holsters edge abruptly angles inward marked up in yellow. This is obviously the holsters built in angle, but it appears to have been trimmed below that molded angle (leaving the elbow angle intact). It is unclear as to how much of the angle was preserved which is why I trimmed the master the way I did. The whole better safe than sorry thing It's further reinforced by the fact that the bottom of the built in angle line is even with the top of the cutoff sheath seen slightly to the right marked up in pink.
The great news is this ... depending on what YOU (TDH) decides ... I've prepared for both. The reason I mentioned that I re did half of the 2.0 mold, was in anticipation of this decision. I've been going back and forth about this in AGONY
If you decide that you want the molded in strap, it's ready to go. If you decide you want the version 2 production holster with the rubber strap because you think I'm seeing things, well ... that's ready too The way I did it was to mold and prep the front half of two holsters But we can't have both, I simply do not have the time to finish two completely different molds because there are many stages to each. Not simp,y two halves, but two halves, an insert, and a spear cavity mold, and neither of them compatible with the other as the spear cavities are different on both (too much flashing inside of one. So, it's up to TDH. it's YOUR call. I'm not as arrogant as some may like to believe to make this decision on my own Also, it should be noted, that the way the holster attaches to the belt, does NOT appear to be by the rubber strap that came with the holster originally that attaches to the top of the holster. It looks like they came up with some other way. It makes sense too, because the thing would be hanging down to your knee with the stock strap
On to the pics ...
The one to the far right is untouched (only lightened) so you can see what's going on in there without the mark ups. Let the games begin. But make it fast, because I'm itching to get this weight off of my shoulders
very convincing evidence. I trust your eye Chris. RIBBED RUBBER add-on pistol grip strap vote for me.
as far as i am concerned, go with your "arrogance" brother, and make this thing the way Fettpride would have it...i feel everyone trusts your judgement, and would be pleased with whatever decision you make...you guys have different reference material, and most of us wouldnt have even batted an eye to the differences you have mentioned above... i am happy just having the opportunity to get a casted nemrod holster... i am in for whatever is decided.... if i dont have to paint the sucka, i am good...
Since you have the better evidence go with it, i trust you to get the most accurate holster you can.
I agree with with above as well. You have better photos so you use your judgement. The ribbed rubber would probably be more durable too.
I would say go with what appears to be the most durable version, which seems to be the second issue holster.
Can we see a similar perspective picture of a real ribbed strap holster? I honestly dont see any evidence of ribbing there but it would help if I knew how big or prominent the ribs were. Also the fact that the end appears to be bent up may be a trick of the light. There are pictures from the deleted cloud city hallway scene that show no bent end nor ribs.
I vote first issue molded in strap version. After all, as you pointed out earlier, it is an easy fix to slice off the molded in strap and replace it with the second issue ribbed strap if you chose that version. But its much harder for someone to add the molded in strap LOL.
Since no solid reference can be provided for either version I say its wise to go with the first issue.
I am interested, could you please send me more info?
Is there going to be any more discussion about this? It may not matter so much to everyone which version is chosen but it matters alot to me. I want this replica to be 100% accurate so I never have to worry about finding a real one or buying a better replica.
If we got the molded strap version and new reference ever shows that the retaining strap is ribbed, we would be able to slice off that strap, replace it with the ribbed strap and be 100% accurate. But if clearer reference shows it really is not ribbed and in fact molded in, we would be up a creek with the ribbed strap version as we couldnt correct it to look molded in.
So once again I vote for the molded strap version. Anyone else feel the same?
Go with the molded in retaining strap and supply the two ribbed rubber straps along with it, one to mount at the top in order to loop around the girth belt and the second to complete the alteration "WHEN & IF" more detailed High Resolution pictures show other wise!
Ok Guys and gals ... original plan it is then. I shouldn't have stirred the pot on this I suppose. So, the molded strap version is going under tonight.
This thing is really kicking my butt Something that seemed so simple has proven to be one of the most difficult molds I've made in my nearly 15 years at this Well, if it is to be done as flawless as possible, it had to be this way
Working on it ... still
Wait till I get the nerve to post pictures of the mold process on this one, and you'll want to take me for dinner and drinks
Ya know, part of it is that I really am my own worst enemy. Most people would look at this piece and figure a way they would mold in in about 15 minutes. I tend to over think things. Over analyze. But I assure you, I thought I had it figured out too, until my first mold proved wrong. The first mold was a traditional glove mold with an fg jacket structure. But as I'm always against glove molds for reasons I've explained in the past, came painfully true with this piece, as I'd feared. When you're dealing with wall thickness like this (too thin for traditional back yard molding) you have to really get creative. And I did Not to mention creating the spear compartment void without injection molding, and keeping seam lines to a bare minimum There was just no slack with this little pain in the arse! Until I can post some pics, I'll just quietly pat myself on the back, and get really trashed when this is over
** BIG UPDATE **
It's about 5:30 am PST, and I'm just calling it a night after a VERY VERY long weekend. I so burnt, I'm crispy. I now officially hate the sight of this holster
However, the GOOD NEWS is ... the mold is finally complete !!!!!! The last portion that gave me fit over the weekend was the spear cavity. As I mentioned in an earlier statement, the original holster has some NASTY flashing on the inside from the injection molding process. Anyone with one of these can take a peek inside of their own and see it. This makes molding impossible. Silicone gets LOCKEd tight. So I had to scratch make a new cavity based on measurements of the original, make a mold of THAT, then make a silicone casting of THAT. But that wasn't all. As many probably haven't noticed because not many own these, the cavity is also curved 2 dirctions inside That made it even more interesting keeping the silicone mold insert away from the sides of the holster shell during the casting process. It took 3 tries. It's now officially a 4 piece mold
I should be able to finally start pulling casting tomorrow (5-19) while catching up on other orders that are starting to back up over this Does anyone remember that feeling you would get in grade school when you screwed around too much during the week, then at the last minute you remember that you forgot to study for a final or important test, or forgot an important homework assignment the night before it was due? That panic feeling ?? Yah. I got it. Have had it now for 3 weeks. Today, I break. I sleep. I go see Star Trek I'm so sorry it's taken as long as it has. But I sincerely thank you all for your patience through this. You've all been wonderful.
Once I get the first batch of paid members fulfilled, I will accept payments for the next batch if there are still interested parties. If there are no other interests after that - I'll take the new mold out and shoot it I don't wanna play anymore
Again, thanks everyone. I also realize my PM box is full. I haven't been at the computer. I will try to get to them as soon as I can. To those that have called and left msg's, I'm sorry as well. When I'm in the shop and have the music cranked up, I don't here it. I'll get back with you as soon as I can too. But after I sleep
Oh, and Eric - I need a hug brother You better rush that "Milkman" award !
please let me know the rest of costs for shipping to Germany,
thanks for making these available
just for the record.....
Mojo does, in fact, rule.... however this was intended for his sidearm thread.
No worries man, I knew you'd get this baby all dialed in to your accepted level of perfectionism! Sure, dinner a few drinks sound good, are you making it to Dragon Con or any other place outside of Oregon in the near future? We need to talk about some other projects bro!
Chris, please keep me on the list. Going to try and move some funds around bud - not a good time, but I must have this!
hmmmm if i can get on this list, that would rock. It may take me couple of weeks to get payment, but it looks like it would be a lil bit before you get to me anyway
this is gonna go perfect with Mojo's sidearm!! woo!
Paypal sent brother!
Paypal payment sent, FP. Thanks!
PP sent earlier this week...Thanks
It's not trick photography ... they're finally starting to multiply And not a moment too soon.
I can't afford to keep myself in Rogaine and Celebrex
Ok, so the original material chosen was only half right for the job. After the first real casting, it was clear in 12 hours or so, that the straps would break. So these are now cast in two different materials in the same family. Which only adds to me having to "finesse" each casting The strap is cast in a much softer version of the same family of material. The strap itself is pre-cast, before the holster is cast. The end result is the two materials blending seamlessly, but with the rigidity in the holster body, and the flex in the strap.
To say that these are a pain, is an understatement. Each holster takes about 12 hours from start to trimmed finish. Granted, about 10 hours of that is curing, but it sure slows things down a bit. As you can see by the pic though, we're moving right along. There are 15 done total at this point. I'm working on snaps as we speak. And that's another problem of it's own. They're not just run of the mill 5/8 Jumbo Snaps. Those required, are much more industrial for lack of a better term. Whereas a traditional Jumbo Snap has one side with a shank that presses into the mating side, the industrial types have two shanks (for added depth) that press into each other. And I'm having a hard time finding them. If anyone has any clue as to what I'm referring to, I'd appreciate it if someone could put some feelers out there to help speed this along for you folks
I'm just about caught up on this months orders for armor parts now, and more than half done with these holsters. I project that ALL should be tied up by the end of the first week of June ( end of next week). For the first time since I got back to Oregon, I'll be able to start fresh and not feel like that little kid that forgot to study for his final the night before I'm getting too old for this

So look what the busy beaver's been up to, NICE BRO!
K, I think I've found snaps that will work. I just needed a bit of education on the subject.
So, we're looking at Line 24 snaps, but with an extra long barrel (8-10 mm). They're still not the vintage style that has a double barrel (double post) like rapid rivet style. But the rapid rivets will be used for the upper belt strap attachment.
Well done FP, it's the cleanest cast I have ever seen
That's what I'm talking about!
Top notch FP. This and Mojo's sidearm are the best projects I have seen on here in a while. Thanks for killing yourself over making it as accurate and good a product possible. It really paid off in the beauty of this piece!
wow, just wow, brother!! perfect timing as well, now that Gav has begun shipping his sidearms!! this item is going to be absolutely amazing!! awesome work, as always...
Are all the places gone on this, or can I get in on it?
Managed to get myself on the sidearm run, and need a holster for it.
Thanks a bunch everyone, I really appreciate your appreciation here
- PLEASE READ THIS POST -
But I want to make sure that you're not under the impression that these are "perfect". Do they look "better" than the originals? Absolutely. That's really the best we can hope for, right? But make no mistake, that there will be imperfections here and there. Much like Stormrider's rubber FP knee project, the material used is so ridiculously thick, that there will be a bubble here and there. The "nemrod" logo is a bear to be specific. I've managed to perfect the process to where all of the detail on each casting's logo will be intact. It also has to be "pre-cast" like the strap (in the softer urethane) because it's more viscous than the holster urethane. But there may be a "nib" or two from time to time within the logo that has to be popped off with the end of a sharp exacto. The silicone was to blame for this, as the mold was too large to be put into a vacuum. Even with a print coat of silicone on the master, there were a few bubbles in the silicone that I couldn't avoid with thick brush on material. So this makes positive "nibs" in the casting. I will do my best to make sure they're all gone before shipping. But I thought I would give a heads up.
There is also a seam line that didn't appear on the original. It is placed on the hollow spear cavity of the front of the holster (forward section). But the seam line is moved toward the back of the holster where it cannot be seen when worn. There was no way to avoid this, as I said before, the original was injection molded (pressure injected with metal multi section molds). There is no way to get the same result with silicone molds, no matter how skilled you are. So even though I followed as many seams as I could off of the original, the new seam line had to be put there. It's a nice sharp clean line, but I also thought I would mention it.
The inside of the holster was also "fortified" a bit. Because of how thin the original was, to cast it in urethanes that "mimic" the original vinyl that these were injection molded with (for accuracy of feel), the castings would have been too thin to hold up to trooping. All of the detail still remains inside, it's just a little "thicker". The majority of you will be using them to troop in. SO you may thank me later, as the section that holds the belt strap would have surely lost your beautiful side-arm in a crowd for sure Again, this material was chosen to mimic what is accurate to the originals. It may have been better to cast these in a "hyperfirm" type of rubber - but it would not look or feel accurate at all unfortunately.
GBH even said to me today, that "again", I am my worst critic or enemy. And where that may be true, I want to to make sure there is full disclosure here, especially with my reputation at stake.
This next part is VERY important ....
The most notable point of interest here, is that blasted strap. Let's not be under any misconception that we're out of the woods on those breaking, even though I developed a way to combine two different shore "D" resins (hardness/flex). These are after all, "semi-rigid" urethanes. They are by no means "rubber". They WILL still break. It's only a matter of time. I don't want there to be ANYONE unclear about this. Again, with my reputation at stake, I can't take the chance. Some of you may get lucky, and it might last for years. some of you, it could break in two hours. It all depends on the person. What I DO NOT recommend, is playing "Quick Draw Mcgraw" with them I know that sounds absurd, because even as GBH pointed out today, those guns are a bit to awkward for that anyway. But I have to say it.
For all intents and purposes, these holsters are "AS-IS", and fully disclaimed. I consider them display pieces due to the fact that the molded strap will have a limited life if used constantly. The rest of the holster is virtually bullet proof. This most certainly doesn't come as a shock to anyone, because I've been preaching practically since this project started, that even the company who made them, made two versions - the second version with a separate "rubber" strap to correct the first version that was too brittle and broke. As a whole - we have "all agreed" that these will be made as I'm making them (accurate) , with the inclusion of the rubber strap as an accessory option to add to your holster when the molded strap breaks. It is VERY important that everyone understands this, because I can not be responsible for a faulty design not even of my own. I'm sure you understand. Casting these with molded straps was a bit against my better judgement, and I made no secret of that But I don't want people to be unhappy with me over this project. I want people to be informed and satisfied. Just know, and I can't make this any more clear - if the molded straps break, they break. I know that is blunt, and I am sorry. But this project has become a bitter one for me. My worst nightmare would be 20-30 people PM'ing me wanting a replacement holster because it broke. If you're in doubt about any of this, please re-read the thread from start to finish to see what I have been saying about it. Essentially, these holsters are being supplied as they were originally designed (with the exception of the movie mods) with the understanding that it is a faulty design, and a backup plan is already included with your order (rubber strap and template)
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT ...
To those of you that are still waiting to order, or even if you have already paid for your order -
If would like to eliminate the future frustration of seeing your molded strap break, and having to replace it with the included rubber strap - you can speak up now. I would be happy to make the modification (adding the rubber ribbed strap) before shipping. You will receive a holster that would be considered a replica of the version 2 holster that the company originally produced. This holster, will be impervious to damage, or breakage - guaranteed. Keep in mind, that we cannot prove which was used on screen anyway. The holster as seen in the above and below pics, is primarily for the "purist" here that wants to take the chance
Beyond all of that - more progress was made today - I found snaps that will work for us
Next are the rubber belt hangers and speed rivets

Chris you shouldn't have to worry about things like the strap breaking once we get them. That would be like me going back to the car dealership and saying the rubber on the tires wore off after 100,000 miles. You can't protect against things like that. It is just awesome that you have been able to cast up and replicate such a difficult piece. I have no clue how you did it in the first place. I know you are just trying to watch out for everyone and do what you always do and protect us Fett heads, but like I have already said you shouldn't have to worry. From my standpoint I will just be grateful to have one and will be proud to wear it no matter what happens to the strap. Thanks for all the hard work you have put into this project, and I can't wait to see how they turn out.
Forgot to include my board name though. So mark kbrosseau down as paid when you see payment from Keegan Brosseau.
Ditto what FettFanatic said.
I'll be trooping with mine, but I don't plan on fidgeting with that strap to any great degree. If it does break, I'll use the backup, no biggie. This piece is such a nice addition to the costume.
WOW! those look amazing FP!!! i cant wait to get mine! woooo!
Paypal sent, cheers guys!
pm sent on having the strap on my holster changed out before shipping...thanks FP!!
Pm sent about strap change. FP, thank you for doing this run. All of your stuff is top of the line. If any of our stuff did break we would know that it was not cause you sould us lesser product, but cause the casting must have been a fight up hill. + you are sending a replacement along with a how too add it. Not many others would do that.
Thank you for take'n on this run.
If the strap should break after a month or two I assume the rubber one could be easily added to replace it? Just want to make sure that there is an option should a failure of the resin occur. If that's the case you've done all you can bro.

Paypal sent! Alternate strap please. I didn't include my TDH username on it though. It's from my htjkmd paypal addy. Thanks!
Thanks for the clarification GBH.
Thanks a bunch guys and gals - you're troopers (pun intended) You're all so understanding.
I, however am sooooo not comfortable with this as it stands. I don't mean to be wishy washy. And I certainly don't want to complicate this anymore than I feel I have But I want to make sure that I've done everything humanly possible to make this happen with "caveats" imposed upon you.
I have one last thing up my sleeve here. I'm going to experiment with the compound that Stormrider used for the FP Rubber knees after all. I want to at least find out if a casting is doable. My only concern has been the finish and feel of each casting. The originals were hard vinyl, and there is really only one material that suits this (what I've already used). But if I can come close on this other material, it will at least be an option for those that aren't as concerned with the ultimate accuracy of the hard vinyl surface feel. The new material is on it's way, and I will be able to report my findings by weeks end. It's a small delay, but it will be worth it to know there was no stone left unturned
Thanks again for all of your words of support on this. To those that have PM'd me about the pre-strap replacement .. consider it done. But lets see how this turns out before I ship 'em
sounds good brother! whatever is best, in total support of what you come up with...
Dang, you're rock star!
I thought you had made this deal as sweet as you possible could already.
I'm a day late, but here's the new info on the new material:
I got it late Wednesday, since I was in the process of shipping the last of my armor orders I didn't get around to it until late yesterday. Unfortunately, this material is impossible to work with in this type of complex mold So it appears we're status quo on what has already been discussed. I wish it could be different. I will of course still keep my eye out for a "perfect" material, but we have to move forward with this as planned. It's tough because of the nature of this mold. And of course I now I'm being too hard on myself, but I I wanted perfection So this means that holsters will start officially shipping this coming week, and perfect timing too as I see members are receiving their Mojo-Side arms ! Not too bad really
So from now on, any new orders, please specify if you want the rubber strap installed please. Perhaps GBH can add this to your respective names on the list in post #1
I am however taking a much needed day of rest TODAY. Thanks again everyone for their continued patience
awesome, FP!! my sidearm needs a home...cant express enough gratidue for you and GBH making this item happen...when you search, and search for this elusive item, its nice to know that there are those willing to contribute to the community to get us little peeps as accurate as possible! cheers guys!!
Sorry for the payment delay Chris and GBH, money is VERY tight. It's my birthday though and the wife said I could pick up a little sumpin - sumpin - so payment is away!
THX BubbaFett, got you marked down for a lil' somin' somin'! I'm sure Fettpride will be along with a oil somin' somin' of an up date as well!
THX Again Everyone!
Sorry about being slow to update. Everything is on-track now. I wanted to ship the first sets out last Friday as promised, but I had not yet received the rest of my snaps and chicago screws. As of yesterday and today, the first 8-10 have shipped. Not trying to be vague, but there were a total of 15 packaged that were sent in the last two days, and I know at least 8 of them were holsters. I've not been to sleep yet (again ) so I'll post the tracking sometime today.
tk2647 - Sorry about that. What I need to do is gather up all of our over seas members and see what the average is so I have some kind of idea as I'm not used to shipping these. Of course it will still be dependent on the particular country. What I'll most likely do is post up prices today or tomorrow for the more common countries for you guys and gals
I'm praying I can get 8 more to the post by weeks end, but no promises. Worst case, I think I'll have all of the rest out TOTAL by months end at this rate to give a realistic expectation.
Again, my apologies for the delay. I started a new project in between these slow holsters I can't wait to show it off someday Oh, and no - not Fett related. But soooooo cool For those that are awaiting PM's, I'll be getting to as many of those as I can today too

** REGARDING INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND HANDLING **
Now that I've been able to ship some of these out, I have the info I needed to calculate International Postage. For some reason unknown to me, it's seems to be a flat rate that the USPS is charging now For just about everywhere but Turkey, it's going to be $38.00. Turkey is $37.00 Not sure why, but that's what it's telling me. It's not always accurate, but that's what we're going to call it

I think it's because nowadays all the International postage done by USPS has obligatory insurrance and delivery confirmation, they also ship it very fast, some kind of priority mail.
I'm not sure, but the last year and half all my boxes from USA were that way
