I went to check my p.o. box today to find out I had a package

Anything new with the spikes? It'll be 3 weeks mid week since you told me that Scott shipped them and they still havn't arrived. I know mail is slow at times this time of year... but....

Unfortunately, no news yet. The boot guy told me the run would be done by Christmas. If they are not done by then, we'll discuss what needs to be done to fix the situation, whatever that might be. I'll continue to do things on my end, but after Christmas, I'll start a new post on everything, seeing as how this will hit a fourth page soon.

I got my boots today - woohoo!!
....and it even came with spikes!
The quality & the materials are top notch and I think all it needs is some weathering as it looks too brand new.
One thing that I need to comment on are those aluminum spikes as I think they're positioned forward too much. Are these the revised ones Wes?
The spikes are really VERY pointed and I almost cut myself on one of 'em checking out how pointed it is. Literally, these boots could be lethal weapons and I dont know about the legality of wearing this in public places. Watch out as you can hurt others or yourself if you're not careful.
Going by some references, I would say that the accurate spikes looks similar to Boba's lone dart on his right knee armor. Since I make those in fiberglass, I'll attempt to replace the aluminum pointed ones with my version so it wont stick out way too much.....and ofcourse lessen the point.
If I have to replace the aluminum 3 sided toe armor to integrate my fiberglass darts on which could be molded as one, then I'll do it.
Folks, my boots were one of the first ones shipped out early September and Scott accidentally shipped it out via "surface" mail....so it literally took the looooooong boat across the pacific to get here. Rest assured that your boots would be coming in pretty soon

Has anyone else received their boots/ and or spikes? Mine supposedly shipped out a month ago... at least that's what Wes was told by Scott..(I don't believe that they were ever shipped...but anyways...) has anyone else heard anything?

You can't trust or believe anything that Scott says from the way the things are looking at this point, It is unfortunate.

Damn, any word on the boots yet? the size 10s I thought were supposed to go out like almost 3 weeks ago, weren't they? I've got a couple of big 501st events coming up in Jan.(one particularlly BIG event), it would be nice to have em for that. We just had our annual toy drive up here for 501st, it was an awesome event

To be honest, I'm really starting to think Scott got in over his head with these spikes and he dosn't even have these done to begin with or even have them period.
That is the only thing I can think of why he is being so neglagent on this matter.

My goodness has anyone received their boots size (10)yet? The week they were suppose to be shipped has been way overdue. I'd
even asked the post office if by any chance they are holding any package for me the answer was ''no'' they never even seened one. It''s been a very long time I mean how many more incidents can occur.

Ok I'd like to put in my $.02. And Wes, not all these comments are aimed at you. I have been very patient with the complications on the boots, because I know that things happen. But when people are being lied to about the status of their boots/spikes, I draw the line. If he said that the spikes were shipped, then comes back and says they are not done yet, I get angry. Granted, they aren't my spikes, but the same could very well happen to me at a later date. The reason I have been so patient to this point is because I have not needed the boots for any certain event. Others, though have things planned and they need them by a certain date.
Another thing, to me it looks as if this new completion date of Christmas is going to work out just about as well as the Halloween one did. There are still many pairs left to be shipped out and unless all of them are ready to be done in 2 days time, it won't happen. And consdering that its been about 2 months since the last boots shipped and the next shipment has not been finished in that amount of time, it looks like they will not all be done.
Now personally I paid to have my boots sent to me complete, I dont want to be sent the boots and spikes separatley, thats like buying a computer and being sent the individual parts instead. I do not have any experience in boot making or anything similar, so I dont want to put my own spikes on and have then come off because I didn't know what I was doing.
