On a simi-related note, I believe that "Pulce" is translated to English as "Flea", probably named after it's size.

According to a co-worker who who speaks fluent French, "Pulce" translates to "pistol"

That sounds more logical for it's name. I was translating it from Italian.

This thing seems to be more rare than frogs fur. I have been checking the scuba forums only to find some of you guys already there looking.

Very cool shot!! I guess it stands to reason that these weapons will most likely be in rather rough shape considering they were used under water. No worries about weathering on whoever finds one

some can still be found. here is a pic of a 40 with dark gray anodized barrel, and a 60 with the silver barrel, and an additional pic from some barrel parts.
