Evolution Toys Store Jet Pack

I have seen some of Evolution Toys Store's machined parts and heard nice things about thier boots (in fact I have ordered a pair).

What about their assembled and painted ABS Jet Packs? Anyone have, touched or seen one? How is the quality?

The Evo pack looks ....ok. I havent actually had one or seen one in person to give you a good answer to your question, BUT for the price, pay a little more and you can get a MOW pack and have it painted, (id recommend Wicked beard), and have the piece of mind knowing you have a top notch pack, thats great quality that you will most likely never have to upgrade and your supporting our own.

The only thing I can see is being from a abs mold the edges aren't really sharp but it must be pretty light!

Looks "OK" The details are a little soft. I would personally get a MOW pack. He is even running a special now. I have the older MOW version and it is awesome. Besides, that is what JB wears. He is also in the US and his turn around time is fast!!

Appreciate the input, brothers. It will be MOW Jet Pack. I did see his special, cojack. I'll have to wait for a better time for me. I also want Wikedbeard's Gauntlets. But I guess that's a whole new thread.

In my opinion, for the price, Evolution is WAY overrated, except on their soft parts, which are REALLY nice.

I guess we all have good and bad experiences. Yes, I agree Gabriel at Evo makes good soft parts. However, he sent me a jet pack without the top stabilizer and left me hanging. Good luck to those who decide to use him, who knows - maybe he will eventually make good on my situation.

If I get some requests, I'll post some pics of the jet pack from Evo and you guys can decide for yourselfs if they're worth buying.

Your gonna be glad you waited when that Slave1Pilot paint job is finished. He finished mine recently and it is simply amazing. The man does exceptional work.

I made the mistake of trying to take a few shortcuts preparing my ESB Boba costume and am in receipt of Evolution's jetpack, armour and gauntlets. The best I can say about them is that the metal parts provided are nice. The actual plastic is shockingly poor. The pulls are soft. The paintjob terrible. The construction shoddy and flimsy. Rubies looks better, I **** you not! I am now in the process of trying to claim my money back through PayPal. Don't waste time and money with Evo's plastic.

Nope his MB pack will soon be mine...... Muwah....muwahaha.....muwahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!!!

My first jp was a evo jp I got to paint jango, for the quality it is waaaay over priced that you might as well stick with MoW or MLC. cheaper and the quality and detail is top notch!
