Not to sound like a pessimist or anything...but
You are posting this "experiment" on a forum that Gabe frequently visits and is made up of his biggest customer base. You don't think that he is taking that into consideration when handling your order? I hardly think that you are going to get the average treatment, especially with all the attention that has been drawn to his store as of late.

I understand that this would effect my order, but as some one said earlier in this thread, it will be interesting to see what his best efforts will produce. Plus if I waited I know I would forget to mention something and nothing would be fresh in my mind. Believe me, I thought about it before hand and weighed my opinions.

I just don't want him to come up with some other PP account . That is way im going to check it by doing a fake want to buy with him just to see if it has changed OK bro . But not going all the way with it as in sending him money . I have found out so much info about him in the past few days it not even funny .

Can we get info to report to Paypal about his fraudulent ways? I would like to tell them my story! I deserved my $300 plus dollars back! If it weren't for his scamming ways I would have returned the items to get my money back, but he conveniently ships outside the Paypal dispute window. I know it's not cause of his location cause I complained to him about the ripped back, cod & general quality of armor and he shipped me an almost complete replacement set and a ROTJ flamethrower - all in even worse shape, that took a little under a week to get to me.
To the owner of his soft goods, they may be "ok", but cannot hold a candle to people like Ladysewforus who isn't too much more expensive. I ordered my first vest from cucblack and it was nice...I just refused to deal with Gabe again.
The person who said it's Rubies quality, here's some food for though for you. I make my own sintra armor. I have been able to have hands on with FP armor and even Wickedbeard. Fortunately (for info purposes), I have been able to thoroughly examine the Supreme Rubies Fett fail. One of our guys bought one. The Supreme hard parts look like FP stuff next to Gabe's. Even a sweatshirt is better quality than the soft parts of a Supreme though. The vest is made of that Halloween foam costume quality.
So in that, the lesser of the evils are some metal parts, then soft goods. I say don't buy anything, since he constantly rips people off.

I'm afraid you will quickly find that paypal don't give a **** about their customers. They certainly don't give a **** about the quality of the goods being purchased. They act in a similar way to an escrow company but satisfy themselves when proof of shipping is provided by the seller. The nature of their responsibility is such that it doesn't matter if the seller ships a box full of crackers or a set of armour if the proof of postage is supplied then paypal are satisfied. Any matters to do with quality then become an issue between the seller and the buyer directly. This system is naturally open to abuse and people like evolution take advantage of this and the 45 day dispute window in order to exploit their customers.
Istead of dealing with shaddy Gabe, wouldnt it be easier to just download the knee armour blueprints from TDH, purchase a cheep $40 heat gun and mould your own!!!....This way you can get personel satisfaction and a way better product. Thicker plastic and better paint job! Gabe should just stick to selling his aluminium parts. Herd good things about them!

This **** is NOTHING u guys really have no clue as to PP and it sucking at helping people...Ive been on other boards relating to cars and theres scammers everywhere who REALLY scam people. Who sell dreams to people and never send anything and are in the US let alone another country. People research what you are buying! I hope that gabe fixes what he can for u guys, but PP isnt likely to help the way you think its gonna
Regardless of this post is very rich in comments, I can assure you that paypal is a malignant really believe it or not is far worse for a seller to a buyer ... who always sold everything to lose, because any claim of quality is a sure loss, any claim that the shipment did not arrive at their destination is a loss, I in most cases when a problem occurs try to fix it directly with the buyer because if the package does not arrive send a new replacement at my cost, that means that often I lose out and also the customer gets angry with me, but the rules of the game that paypal and ebay subject us .-
I want to add for information, I was thinking these days and I have decided to rethink much of my business, for that reason decided to suspend my ebay store ... Among other things, I will deal only to the sale of soft parts (some will have to get more quality improvements), aluminum parts, boots and accessories ... in respect of parts of armor, they will be sold only when they are in stock ready to ship, of course I'm in the process of changing the quality and completion of them, for that reason I let go of some manufacturers and just continue with me 2 that actually work with the required quality
Also today I will be returning if paypal fees will allow me some armor parts orders which have not yet been sent ... As you can see I'm focusing the business on a smaller structure that can meet the expectations of all customers and with better quality

yea i ordered a pair of gauntlets 2 weeks ago from this guy, emailed me today saying he was out of stock, then said was a problem with billing and received my money... so having to get my money back and never do business with this person again.. guess i'll scratch build me some

pistpunk, be VERY happy. Take the money you spent and buy a set of manofwar gaunts. You would have cried upon seeing gabe's upclose.
