If the user Snoopytrooper still writing about me ... i will have no choice but to denounce it publicly, a person really is evil ... full of hate, liar and blackmailer which I did much damage.
 
I'd be full of hate too if you screwed me out of a couple grand and somehow found time to defend yourself here, but not reply to any messages. or to remedy the problem. I still hate SFP fo rwhat they did to me, personally I can see why he's angry toward you.

What about you ripping me off? Where are the shin tools I paid for? How come the tracking numbers you sent me are bogus? What about the emails you ignored? First you had the flu, then you told me you shipped the items, then you send me fake tracking numbers? All you did was give me excuse after excuse. Your customer service is horrible. What kind of person are you? You failed to deliver on products which people PAID for! I purchased the jumpsuit from you and it did not fit, I sent it back for a replacement, you kept it, and never sent me the replacement. Same thing with the flak vest. YOU NEVER SENT ME THE JETPACK, ARMOR, GAUNTLETS, GLOVES, FLIGHTSUIT, VEST, AND SHIN TOOLS. All I got from you were the wookie braids, and the ****** jetpack harness and girth belt. You should be ashamed of yourself for selling that low quality stuff. You should also be ashamed of yourself for keeping over $1000 dollars of my hard earned money.
 
By the way, when I purchased the items from Gabe, I informed him that I was a member of TDH. I figured if I was dealing with a member of TDH, then he must have high standards. I purchased countless products from members here. MANOFWAR, FETTDAD, FETTPRIDE, SERENITY, MOJOFETT, BFUK, LADYSEWFORUS, and several others. I never had any problems with any of them. Their products were excellent, the customer service was excellent, and their reputations are well deserved. Evolutions should not be able to sell those low grade products on TDH. I hold TDH to the highest standard of the costume community and Evolutions brings that standard down. I think I am going to post photos of Gabe's Girth belt, and wookie braids. I suggest you guys post some pictures of the wonderful stuff he sells. The pictures on his ebay listings do no match what you actually receive.
 
I kin of feel like my thread is being diverted from it's original purpose and taken down the toilet. I'm always happy to see people add there experiences for the good of the community. The recent line seems to have taken a distinctly personal route. Understandable, but regrettable.

Well the name of the thread is "the good, the bad, and the ugly". I think its very appropriate to discuss the "bad", and mostly "ugly" things that Evolutions has done. I wish there was a thread like this before I hit the "buy it now" button on ebay. I really hope this thread helps others from making a mistake like I did.

Hi Victor .... nice to see you again ... and just here , maybe you don't have enought memory ... but you receive all the items , you open a claim against me on Aug 2009 ... you put me a negative , and you receive a refund for $ 1405 !!! .... ohh sure .. you put on the trash all the plastic parts , aluminium parts, boots and soft parts ... come on !!!

Your not fixing any of the probs your have Gabe why not ? were is my refund Gabe ??? You have $2100 of my money and I don't have poop :) for my money . Your all talk no action . I have a ? . Why is he not band from here on TDH ? He is a thief and a con . Why do we let him on here . He is giving nothing but a bunch of BS on here to all of us . His mom died 2x's with me so he cant even keep his story's right . I'm going to put this link on whitearmor.net about this trend because he does sell TK stuff and we can have him riping others off . On Monday im going to do what I said I would as in file a Internet fraud case with the FBI and the other I have listed in another post . Every one that has got riped off even if is past the time frame to get your money back NEEDS TO CALL PP or ebay and report him and we can stop him but ONLY if you file a fraud complaint with them even if you don't get you funds back just like I have done . We can stop him if we work together on this .
 
I'm sorry to butt in, and I know, i'm only a noob here, but in my experience in dealing with eBay and PayPal, if you don't have the item when the 45 days is up, file a dispute, no matter if it's "in transit" or still being manufactured or whatever. At least then PP and Ebay are notified of the situation and then you get more time to resolve the issue by either getting your product, or not, and letting PP decide your fate.

I don't want to de-rail this thread any more than it has, but I currently have a dispute against me, because a silly so and so, bought a AFA vitage figure off me, and didn't realise he had import duties to pay. Needless to say, it is still sitting in his customs, uncollected, he has filled a non-reciept dispute against me, which PP imediately withdraws the funds out of my account and holds it regardless of the reason. This dispute has been ongoing for 2 weeks now, which I know isn't long compared to some of your disputes, but it's still $800 out of my pocket sitting in PP's account. And now I have to wait for PP to "review" the case. He will probably win, cause he is a douche, and doesn't understand his import duties, and I hope he is reading this thread. The only thing I have on my side is the tracking numbers, which I have been told that I am covered also. I spose I'll just wait and see.

What I'm trying to say here is that there are "safe guards" in place to protect buyers. They may be slow and primative, but it's a heck of alot better than whingeing on here to a bunch of onlookers.

BTW: I just bought boots off Gabe, they are hopefully in the post, I'll just have to wait and see. But I will file a dispute when 45 days are up...

OK a update for some of you . I have filed a complaint with the FBI Internet fraud division today . I do have a case # a user name and password with this so I can look @ what the FBI has done . Someone for the FBI will be in contact with me in the next 21-28 days about this . Yes this does take a bit of a time for me but like I said I will make it my mission to stop this from happening to anyone EVER again . O Gabe if you don't know what the FBI is look it up do you want that heat on you ? :) :) :) I do have 2 whitenesses to every box I got from him unopened until I have someone their to see what I have and their name , # , email is in the case with the FBI . I did that just to protect myself when he started giving me the run around .

I hope noone mentioned this yet,but they sell a "Boba Style helmet" now,wich is,quite good(my first helmet) its preety nicely built,it is relativly cheap and easy to assemble,like realy easy,the major down side,the fiberglass matt inside makes it hard to attach lining or paddings,the visor dose not fit in the helmet too good,actuly,it will have gaps at the edges,BUT I am happy with it,it came with preety much everything,exept for a padding...but I guess it belongs to "the good" since,it dose look preety good when its fully assembled and painted.
 
Just an update on my Evolution purchases:
I bought a pair of boots, Aluminium Shin tools, Aluminium Darts & Aluminium JP upgrade. They actually arrived earlier than expected, the stuff is good, the only drama is that the Beacon didn't come with the nut to attach it to the JP. Which he has now sent, and I am waiting for.
 
Hey! I am brand new here on the Dented Helmet. I am in the process of building a Jango Fett costume. I have been ordering different parts from different vendors and for some of the vendors, I have spent time looking into their history/popularity/reliability. I found Evolution Props and their stuff looked legit and a lot of people had good things to say about them. I have been e-mailing back and forth with Gabe and I really like him and think that he's honest and very kind. He let me order a few different things over a couple days and he combined everything into one order to save me money in regards to shipping. By him doing that, it saved me at least $80 to $100! He also dropped the listed price on the knee armor for me! The order is going to ship this next week he told me. I will be sure to post how everything is and the quality of it. I ordered a holster set, a jumpsuit, a grey vest, and the knee armor for Jango Fett. Gabe has always responded to my e-mails either the same or the next day. He's very kind and flexible to suit your needs. I can't wait to see my stuff. I'll be sure to follow up. Thanks.
 
Good luck no one here has had any good experience with Evo Armor, its like they say u get what you pay for and for a little more you could have gotten more quality American made parts which these are not
 
There were some people who liked what they got. Who knows, this could be a big breakthrough for Evo Props. Hopefully....everything will be just right. Counting on you Gabe!
 
Gabe...I gotta say...I am impressed. ;-) My shipment for Jango came in and wow. It was all great. Sadly, the knee armor got just a tad dinged up in shipping but I got it all fixed up no problem. The jumpsuit is insane! Color is awesome and overall, excellent work! Vest is great too! Good grey leather color, I just need to get the shoulder parts to sit down just a bit more. ;-) The holsters are amazing!

Gabe was great to work with, very honest and kind, and his products are great. He put up with me pestering him, changing my mind, and all that jazz. He always answered my e-mails and knocked down my bill a bunch with combining shipping and even gave me a discount on the knee armor! Thanks so much Gabe and EVO!

I am inclined to say that I think you believe the stuff is great because you didnt do your homework and check out the work of some of the real guys here who make Jango stuff. I f you think the stuff is good then that's cool but Gabe has a very bad rep for shoddy wares and ripping people off. It's all over the thread. I cant see how you ordered from him if you read this entire thread. The info here more than illustrates that you stood a VERY good chance of getting boned. As bad as it sounds if you go around sending your cash to the wrong people and touting their greatness you may find it hard to get advice or help from others. My first set of boots came from Gabe and it took just shy of 5 months and when they did get here they had been shipped in a plastic bag mailer and were beaten up and the first time I tried them on the back split open so I suggest you mass alot of Jango screen grabs and see how great your stuff is then.
