Ever Ready Mini Light Switch

01Hawk

Active Hunter
I had purchased RafalFett 3D printed Mini Light a while back as well as the original Handy Light ( which is close but bigger ). Recently I purchased the correct button from his shapeways page in a higher quality material. Here are pics of the original one I purchased ( in my gauntlet) as well as the higher quality version where I just bought the button ( next to the HandyLight). Looks really good and would be a great add to any gauntlet that didn't care about the guts inside

consensus: What do people feel about the ever ready light switch? By that I mean the text?

Yes it may be screen accurate but its not lore accurate. I have a switch with no text I like it better -thoughts.

I will eventually buy the entire real light when I find one for sale just to have it. Personally I like to try and own or have on my costume as many real parts as I can. Not necessarily for accuracy reasons but I enjoy the hunt for them lol. I may just save this button for when I do my new set of gauntlets.

I was lucky enough to find 2 ever ready lights a green one

i tried rafalfetts 3D printed switch from shapeways but it turned up like this

Shapeways said that was as good as it could be and refunded me which was a shame as the original switch doesn't even come close to fitting on my bobamaker gauntlets

i want a sett of redkraydragons vac formed gauntlets for the red one

That's odd it would turn out like that- and they are some cool finds! I haven't actively been looking lately since my found part pile has killed my budget lol. To fit the handy light into MOW gauntlets I would have to grind it down a lot. I didn't try and fit it into my RKD ones but I think it would fit in there.

It's cool you will offer a cast one! They are pretty pricey new and you don't really see it so a replica is perfect. I don't have a pressure pot so casting thin or small items has been a pain for me.
