ESB to ROTJ armor conversion...

 ha ha LOL

well I've never experienced any shortage of room really...

depends mostly on how curved the main part of the armor piece is and how high or low you carry the cod... the higher it goes... you get the idea... :p

hope that helps.

RBF - thanks for the delicate answer to a rather awkward question

Seriously man, you are the top of your league when it comes to costuming. All of us here on TDH could learn a thing or two from yourself.

Well done man.

nice work RBF! what did you use to cut the trash cans, though?

my dremel tool with the drill... wich is not the best to use as slpashes of molten plastic start seering through the air hardening as they fly.... :p

I think the little circular saw tool thingy for it would work best.

that's what I used to cut the wooden detail pieces on my hylian shield anyways.

Ha, I know what you mean on that plastic, it definatly burns.

Any progress on this yet? It's looking awesome!!

well it's not exactly top notch but it sure beats a bold but :p

just a piece of plexi-glas dremmeld out and painted and then hung with iron wiring onto 2 carabiners that are attached to the girth belt.

I had to figure something out cause my cod piece is a one piece construction with the girth...

like I said... not top notch but it'll do... it doesn't hang perfectly horizontal either making it look even more uneven then it allready is... ah well...

EDIT: one picture without... it's better with the plate imo.

I built a Fett suit in the early 90's using fiber glass before I ever began surfing the net. I dug it out a month ago with the intent of improving a few pieces. This site inspired me to redo it completely. I am amazed at what can be done with trash cans. Great work.
