ESB pouches

Hey, I know that the ESB pouches that hang from the ammo belt both have the flap fold on the same side of each pouch and that they are different sizes but I am confused on which side the larger of the two pouches go? Right now I have the larger of the two pouches on the side where there are only 3 ammo belt boxes (right hip) and the smaller one the side where the 4 ammo belt boxes are (left hip). You would think it's the opposite right? Well in the JB project pic from Rebelscum.com it looks like how I have it but in this picture, it looks the opposite and which it may make more sense. The bigger pouch would make most sense hanging under the 4 belt boxes right?

So basically is the bigger pouch on the left or right hip (next to sidearm)?

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing too. All I'll have to do is an easy switch. It really seems to make more sense that the bigger pouch would go with the 4 boxes and the smaller with the 3 especially with the sidearm on that side too. I can just see in pics of me that it's way cluttered and weird on the sidearm side with the bigger of the pouches.

Mine are different sizes, first ones LadySewForUs made too! I've considered the pouches to be generally accepted as different sizes, we've even seen this occur on busts and statues, and other models.

Mine are different sizes too, except that my belt always rides low on the right side due to the weight of the sidearm.

So both of you have your larger pouch on the same side with the 4 ammo belt boxes (left hip) then right?
