ESB Jumpsuit Color

Bubba Fett

Well-Known Hunter
I while back I bought an ESB jumpsuit from SGB and some of the side pockets/pouches from BatNinja. They are both awesome and I recommend them highly. They are both a light gray, however, and as I look at more and more pictures it seems there is a bit of blue in the color of these pieces.

I picked up some Rit Evening Blue dye and am thinking of dying them this weekend. I don't want to change the basic tone of the suit just add a little bluish tint.

Before I do though, does anyone have a good idea of the actual color for this? A Pantone color would be awesome.

Weekend is coming so thought I would bump this to see if anyone had an idea on the color of this besides being a light gray with some blue.

Thx, kind of how I see it too. Not a lot of blue - doesn't even show in a lot of scenes.

MiniFett says hello btw.

My jumpsuit is a light blue color and I will be receiving it shortly. My questions is that what is the best way to weather the jumpsuit? Do some use a rattlecan or do some use a rag to do the weathering? I am new to the forum and found this site a awesome source so thanks all!!!

Hi Nafster,

There are many different methods to weather, and just as many ideas as to how it should look. Try using the search function and typing in " weathering "

It may take a long time to sift through all of the info, but in the end, that will be more helpful. Take a look at all of the opinions and suggestions on the boards, and then go from there. Make sure you know what you want, before you make any changes to your costume.

Happy New Year!

I dyed my SGB suit as well. Funny thing is it changes color with the lighting which seems to be true of every ESB Fett I've seen so far. Sometimes it looks blue, sometimes grey. I like to call it "Bley"

Jon, I dyed my suit using "Midnight blue" and "Pearl grey". I used only 1/2 the packet of blue and the whole packet of grey. fill up washing machine with hot water, add dye and mix. Pre soak the suit first in warm water before placing it into the machine. Let soak for 12-15 minutes, finish cycle and then run it again in a cold cycle and then drip dry. do not put in dryer.

Hope this helps.
