ESB Jumpsuit

I got my jumpsuit material. I went to the local uniform shop and got a short sleeve light blue Red Kap coveralls. they also had long sleeve, but it was discontinued so I started to bum. But to my suprise they had long sleve work shirts in same color and cloth. It should be enough to make pockets and sleeves. it needs to be faded a bit and dirtied up a bunch. I have some pix, but no where to post them since image hoster is not there any more. :( if any one has a good place for me to put them on let me know.

Later.

I'll try this.

"Deer in Carbonite by Boba Fett" - could be a big seller. ;)

Looks great. You may want to wash that suit with bleach a few times to tone down the blue. Nice gloves BTW. Did you make them?

Cool deer mounts!!! Looks like a pretty nice suit there man. I recently had to fade mine to get it to look more accurate too. I used rit color remover as advised by some of our helpful members, and it worked very well. It will probably depend on what type of material your suit is made from though. If its cotton, Rit color rmover will work very well, if its polyester, it might not do much. cool suit though;)

I made the gloves from a set of grey leather work gloves from Wal-Mart, then I glued white leather fingers and top of hand.

I will get the color remover to try it. It is poly cotton blend. so it will take a bit to tone it down.

Thanks on comments. That is a couple of my deer head mounts. I have a 8 pointer that I need to take to the Taxi. and Deer season starts here on Wednesday. So I will try to get some more. :D

Scratch made gloves? Those look like professional work to me. Awesome work amigo!! I have the gloves - I have the white fabric - I have the needle - now I just need a sudden drop in my laziness levels.

It took me about 4 hours to make these. I used leather weld. The part that goes on the top of the hand I stitched the lines on the leather. It is just for looks.

Thanks

You are da man! The gloves are it. I am making mine on your tip. But screw the stitches. I will take a silver pen and dot the the stitches on the leather. I HATE SEWING!!!!!!! I guess it was when I was a child and my mother used to punish me. It puts the hand in the SEWING machine! I said no, please no, - IT PUTS THE HAND IN THE SEWING MACHINE!!!!!...enough said. That is whu I am so messed up. sniff sniff. bye ;-(

I used Red Kapps to make my ESB - they are a PITA to bleach out! I used about 12 packs of Rit color remover, and 2 bottles of bleach...and then gave up. My suit is still too blue, and after all that bleaching it now has a slightly purple tint to it.

I best suggestion is to buy white then dye it, instead of trying to lighten RK's up.
