ESB Jetpack...underside greeblies?

Does anyone know if the ESB Jet Pack had greeblies on the bottom? If so, same/similiar as ROTJ/SE?

No ref at all on this that I know of. I lean towards it being the same as the PP2 pack. Or at least the same greeblies. No idea what order. The thing to remember is, all those "greeblies" did something. Find out what, and you'll have a much better guess. For instance, the gauntlet electronics connect to the batteries in the jet pack. I think thats the middle connector as seen on the PP2 pack. Its labeled "-wrist units"
So it stands to reason that was on all working packs.

Thanks for the info guys.

I was thinking it was close to this:

Since in this photo, the tube looks to be tucked in the back like it (which I'm guessing was connected to the greeblies):

Just my guess though. I'll probably leave my MOW JP without any bottom greebs.

I know that all (or most?) of those parts had a working function like steam coming out of the thrusters, etc anyway which I'll never get around to.

As has been stated, we don't know for sure, but my assessment is that the ESB pack does not have greeblies on the bottom.

Thats the way I see it. But I still lean towards the PP2 arrangement. There is even one or two pictures of the PP2 suit that have that same tube hanging down.

escho34, the greeblies are located in that nook on the back and not on the bottom. I think that all packs may have had that little nook added by hand. It does not appear on the PP1 pack and that is why the greeblies on that pack are on the bottom. After that there is only the ROTJ pack which has some on the bottom but that pack also has the nook. Those greeblies were added either during or just before the filming of ROTJ because they dont appear on the Heilman Photos which were taken in 1980 I think. Who can guess at the reason.:wacko

Ok...WHAT is this hose? I have looked at this picture a hundred times and just now realized it's there.

I've been waiting for the determination of greeblies/non-greeblies on the underside and now have a NEW conundrum...hose/no-hose.
