Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Spruce Green, for the green, its not super hard but there is a bit of weathering to do
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
I can't get that over here. :( Is it the same colour as the dome/cheeks on the helmet?
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Not IMHO its a bit darker...same as the gaunts really I think so at least
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Hmmm, maybe if I do it the same colour as the helm and mist it a bit with black? I also need to sort out how I would attach the rocket to the jet pack, preferably so I can take it off for transporting... I was thinking velcro, but I doubt that will hold it... Any ideas?
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Lee Malone, Rogue Studios here, told me RLM 62 is a really close colour for jetpack and gaunts.
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
What's that? That was just a code. I googled it and didn't get anything useful as a result :(

Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
I got a couple of brush on paints, I need a spray. Not an airbrush colour :(

Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
What pack is that? If you were in the US i could help more with colors I kow you need spray cans, u could get away with using what you used on the helmet maybe depending on how dark it is, the yellow I used the same stuff I use on shoulders with brown misting till i liked it. Then u need a maroon and a brown and khaki kinda color for the markings
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
A plastic one I bought on eBay to get me started. It's quite tough. Just need to figure out a way to stick the rocket in AND make it removable when I am traveling with it.
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
I just glued a bolt to the bottom of the rocket and drilled a hole through the top of the pack body. Secure it with a wingnut from the inside and you're good to go.
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
^ that is a brilliant idea! I just need to try and fit my hand up inside... I'll try and make that work! Thanks again. Just need the green....
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Use humbrol #78 as the green source bro! Weathering and some additional darker green shades will do the job!
You can get humbrol colors in the UK.
I used this on my jetpack too. :)
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Yeah, as mmgraphics said, humbrol 78 over sprayed with humbrol 76 which is a darker green. Should do the trick.
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Actually Humbrol #78 is the closest Humbrol to the RLM 62 colour so use it.
Re: ESB Jet Pack colours?
Cheers! Will be dusting it with black spray paint to weather it and I am thinking about picking up one of those Tamiya weathering kits...
