ESB Hose diameter and length

Hey my gauntlets are to the point where I need to get the hose and was wondering what dimensions should I get. 1/2"? and about how long does everyone use?

Also side note. I am having trouble finding ballpoint pen refills to make darts out of. what brand has people used.

dunno the diameter, but I used a pull out spray sink kit, you know that thing you pull out behind the sink that looks like a garden hose. Well its clear braided hose and very flexible. Stock braided hose, you cant even move that stuff.

Ofr the gauntlet darts I used classic bic disposable pens, pulled the heads off and stuck them on nails.
