ESB Gauntlets

u should look up the 1/8 inch thick longer ones...they would work well IMHO, theyre very thin and wide only thing is to secure them somehow

Thanks to both of you for the info. I have several 1/8x1x1 magnets laying about my basement. I'm going to find some thinner sheet metal and see about attaching it to the inside with the magnets. If I can't get it to work I'll use the hinges and velcro.

So I completely forgot to post up what I did for closures on my gauntlets

I tapped out the pin in the hinge and used a coat hanger wire with one end hooked. The other side I bent a piece of steel around the magnet to hold it then made a seat for in on the lower half. It holds up pretty well. Once I get my flightsuit ordered I can see what padding I'll need to add into it.

This is what I did:

I painted them silver, red, silver to keep the look of the unit consistent. I do have to paint the top button detail white at the rear of the flamethrower. (didn't pay enough attention to the stills)

With ESB sometimes you just have to make your own call as to what you see. Having the newer high rez gallery helps ALOT but sometimes the tiny details can go either way.
