ESB Gauntlet Help

Could somebody please help me with the proper dimensions of the ESB version gauntlets?
I do not have any reference discs or even good photos. I did ask for some pics on one of the other threads here, but had no success :(.
Anyway, I just bought a set of really nice gauntlets that need to be trimmed prior to paint.
How tall/high should the gauntlets be on each side?
How thick/tall should they be at the front and at the rear?
Is there a step down, or cut out on the left side of the gaunt where the flamethrower is?
If the left gaunt is sitting flat, should it slope forward, and at what angle?
I'm sorry if these questions sound silly or are difficult to understand but I'm somewhat new here and have been reading threads like a madman. I just need some good measurements, proper guidance and possibly a few photos.
Thanking all of you in advance! (please help the new guy)

Well Scooter, if you are trying to match the screen used gauntlets perfectly, then all of those angles, heights, etc. would be important, and you would need to try to match reference photos as best as possible.

However, if you are making these to wear (as Im guessing you are) then your first priority should be to make them fit your arms well, and to be comfortable enough to wear. If you try to make them match every dimension of the originals, you may find yourself with something that you cant fit your arm in, or something that you could spin around your arm.

The best thing to do would be to find a balance somewhere between those two extremes. Make them look as close to the originals as you can, but make tweaks here and there if you have to, to make them fit you well.

A good fitting pair of gauntlets would look much more presentable to the general public than a pair that doesnt fit well, even if they were to the film used specs.

:) Very sound advice...thank you.

I guess I'm trying to find that "happy median." I want them to look as accurate as possible while still fitting my arms (don't we all).

Does anyone have any good photo's they could send me (or post here)?

Perhaps even good pics of your own gauntlets? I don't want to hack up mine just yet.

Thanks again, I truly appreciate the response (y)

Rimshot, your the man!

One photo posted by Bountyone was( almost) exactly what I was looking for. It's funny, I see how this topic keeps coming up ever so often, so I guess that why it doesn't receive much attention. I totally understand that. When I get to the level that you guys are at, I'll field the next few requests :).

Anyway, thanks again...please let me know if there's some way I can return the favor.
