ESB Fett Vest Color ??

Can someone please clear up the color variation between ESB Fett Vest color?
I always been under the assumption that ESB Fett had a light grey Tackle Twill Satiny material and similar neck seal. But lately I have seen so many ESB Fett's being approved with cream colored cotton material Vests and neckseals. Which is correct?

I've recently been approved ESB... I believe it is supposed to be cream colored but heavily weathered. I used (and others too I think) gray primer to dirty/ gray it up a bit. I did not weather it as much last year, but when I weathered it more this year it looked alot better and closer to the film. Check what some of the experts here say though.
