Got mine too. Looking forward to seeing how others get theirs finished.

I actually got mine Tuesday, but no one was home to sign, so it took until yesterday to get in to my hands.
Words do not describe the beauty and craftsmanship. This is not a replica. This is not a prop, or a toy. This is art.
Straight out of the box, the piece is gorgeous! Virtually flawless! Without exaggeration, it took under a half hour for any clean-up to be ready for priming.
Hats off to Mojo for his brilliant workmanship! Gracious thanks to Volker for providing the means to make this project possible. Thanks also to SingleSeat and Wes (and possibly others) for the hard work and research in making the discovery.
Have to agree with your Shinobi! Big thanks to Volker for sharing this with us and Mojo for making it available!
*Edit*
A mate just sent it to me...
Looks killer with some paint on!!!
Ya might wanna sand that small section of flash at the rear of the trigger opening... also (what I'd suggest) is to drill thorough that pilot hole I drilled in the rear (all the way) and use another pin to lock the main body into the grip. This is on the original.

Hey Braks, what color brown did you use? Rattle can or model paints?
Rustoleum Primer Red Double-Coat rattlecan
Im not finding the pins to put this together. Has anyone actually got their hands on something that works? My trip to Home Depot turned up nothing...![]()
Here's a couple of completed pics. Just a couple.![]()
NICE!!!! Sweet paint up!
I love your sidearm Seeker! So you're in love with weathering hum?It looks really nice, the weathering is a Boba Fett thing, a weathered sidearm says a lot about Fett
![]()
That's bloody marvellous, Seeker! Beautiful paintjob! What did you use? Awesome!![]()

Wow! The finished blasters are looking great!
I'll be home from Korea on Thursday and hopefully my kit will be waiting for me.Can't wait to build mine.
hey guys, these completed sidearms are fantastic!! are there any close up reference pics of this sucka, or are you guys just going with instinct? so exciting!!
I don't think any close up pics of this have "officially" surfaced yet. I had to make do with the blown up grainy screen caps.![]()
Mine made it!Just got home from Korea today and the blaster was one of the packages waiting for me.
My wife said, "Oh great. . . now you have something to work on."
Looks great! Those aluminum parts are sweeeeet.
Hmm, I was wondering the same thing. LOL!
so what paint is every one going with for this??? I do not want to screw it up. Right now all I have is grey primer on it.
Amazing. These are all looking better than I had ever hoped for. Awesome work everyone.
I got mine end of last week. Beautiful! Too bad life is in the way and I cant get to work on it now...maybe next week.

Well, I guess I'll throw my hat into the fire: Here is my Mojo sidearm fully painted up (I just have to slap some pins in the body)
So what r u guys going with color wise?
There are still some guys with unfinished shipping payments...
You can get me at gavdrew007@aol.com![]()
Might as well since I am so behind the times here... Pm sent Gav.
Got mine done yesterday.
It's a really easy kit to build! Big thanks to Gav for doing all that prep work.
It just needed some basic sanding on the seams, and it was ready for paint.
I went with Floquil Zinc Chromate primer, which is a nice reddish-brown color that sort of changes depending on what kind of light it's under. I used a plain ol' Gunmetal acrylic paint for the trigger and attached it with a small length of 4mm styrene rod, also painted Gunmetal on the ends. It's just press fit into place. I'm leaving it 'pristine' for now. I can always do some weathering later. I just like the shiny finish on the ali parts.
Here's a couple of shots.
All these pics were taken under the same lighting conditions, so you can see how that Floquil color really can take on a different appearance.
What a great, rare piece to be able to add to my Fett collection! Thanks again for making these available.
Wow!that is pristine and shiny. I like the base color. I almost hated to dirty up my aluminum parts too. They were so nice looking, but I don't think Boba would want something that shiny hanging from his battle uniform.
![]()
Nice work SJ... am glad you like it.
Love the colour you chose, you know you want to dirty it up!![]()
The base colour you have used looks the colour seen in ESB, are you planing on painting it over the base?
KaanE, this is the final color. The name of the color is "Zinc Chromate Primer" but I'm not putting anything over it.![]()
Got mine today! this piece is OUTSTANDING! even better than the pics make it out to be! Again guys, thanks for doing these i will NEVER need to upgrade this piece! top notch work Mojo!
PP (shipping) & PM sentoh-boy oh-boy
I'm on the back-up list for one....can I buy a blaster since 42--46 have not purchased?
got mine!! thanks!! INCREDIBLE
Been out of town and came home to a nice new blaster!! Thanks guys, this is really GREAT! Going to see if the wife and kids will let me spend a little time building it up today, since it's Father's day and all![]()
Painted mine up using the same primer Superjedi posted, polished up the main body with metal polish, and gave the painted parts a slight weathering. Not sure whether to drybrush some metallic to simulate paint erosion or not.
Here she is, the little beauty!
![]()
Its Arrived!!! Now to find the time to work on it.![]()
Got in my original Technisub Pulce today (thanks to a board member here at TDh who I will allow to annouce himself if he wishes to be known) and did a comparison to my Mojo-Fett replica just to see how our good friend did.
Rejoice!
For those frustrated by the rarity of the original Pulce spearguns, you can breathe a sigh of relief, because Gav's replica is as close as you will EVER get without owning an original. I can even interchange parts between the two! I will have photos up in the next week (stupid lighting is in Vegas, not here) comparing the two, but Gav really outdid himself on this replica!
Here is a quick and dirty pic of the original.
And a quick and dirty compare to Gav's replica.
Got mine yesterday, Finally!![]()

Anyway, great looking piece, can't wait to get it built. So with that said, how is everyone opening the diameter at the back end of the resin handle in order to screw in the aluminum retainer section? Drill, X-acto, File?
THX Again Gav for doing these, Great Work!

paypal sent $240...thanks Gav
Hey, I noticed that that there are a handful of people from the ORGINAL commitment list who STILL have not even bothered to respond to Mojo or Volker. People who actively post... ***? There are plenty of people who would take your place. I find it extremely disrespectful to have blown Mojo off like that! I know there are extenuating circumstances, but how long does it take to drop a PM? Come on folks, put up or drop out!![]()
Here is mine as it is for now. The pics suck cause it was from a cell phone. I used Georgia Clay color spray paint. It looks like a nice red/brown to the eye. But the pics make it look a tad darker then it is.

Got mine a while back, but never got around to posting anything about it… metal parts looked great and I think they are huge selling point for this kit. But the resin grip was kinda sub-standard and had a good section of the grip (near your thumb when holding) more or less flaking off. This wouldn’t be a problem if it was on the smooth part of the grip, but it runs across the textured section making it much harder to clean up.
Contacted Mojo about the casting and was just pretty much told it should clean up fine…
Kind of disappointed about it…but still a great opportunity to get a casting of such a rare piece.
Anyone have one of these and the FP holster? Wondering how the fit is...
nah, I just lost my job, so I'll be listing it up for sale in the next few days. No worries.![]()
So nice guys...wish I got in on this run! Loot...man, money sucks! Well, lack of that is...![]()
Fits like a glove, ummm holster should.

High fives and hugs to you and the people that stood by you during this project.
Glad you like it bruv....![]()
i got the sidearm and it is amazing
i got you. the side arm is very impressive. out of the box, all i had to do was slightly drill out the end hole and it all screwed together nicely. this kit is amazing. seriously. i will get some photos up once i get it all painted.
This thread has been a long time in the making from interest to completion, but let me tell you, from following this from the beginning to now having the sidearm, it has been well worth it. I am very pleased. thank you mojo and galactic. ill get pics soon.
