ESB correct sidearm interest topic

hey brother, are these going to be blue? :facepalm what is the actual color of the sidearm? are they going to come that color, or are we going to have to paint this sucka!? and will it come unassembled? like a kit? thanks Gav, once again, awesome...(y)

Blue? :confused
The pics posted are of grey primer...
It will probably come pre primed and ready for paint, but I have some paint samples coming so who knows? but peeps will probably wanna do this themselves... ;)
It will come as a kit, this is mainly due to shipping over seas buddy.. better a box of bits than a assembled sidearm! I do not want any cops knocking my door?
The kit will be easily assembled as I will pre drill all holes and all ya gotta do is tap in the split pins... (y)

so impressive!!!
HOLY!!!!!!!!

Yah it looked blue to me too. And I see what you mean about the shape. The actual shape of the aluminum isnt what hes concerned about me thinks.

Its the way the plastic housing is not perfectly sealed to the aluminum all the way around. I dont think anyone but you woul dhave noticed that until you spoke up.

I think it looks amazing. Bravo.

Yeah ok, I yield that it could look a little blue?
Altho it is the shape of the ali that bothers me, but you are correct it was the 'seal' around the body that highlighted it to me? :facepalm working on that.

And I just wanted to be honest about it really? If I noticed it then others will too and I want this to be perfect for everyone interested... (y)

It looks fantastic. With that said I have some questions. What is the divet or cut out on the front of the trigger guard? Is there a purpose for that on the original spear gun? Is that going to be a weak point on the final product?

I would echo everyone else's comments....you're doing an excellent job getting this thing as close to the real deal as possible. Sorry if I missed it, but is there a price point yet??

Gav - WOW. AMAZING man. It looks like an exact copy man. just a different color. It's hard to believe that it's a molded copy. I mean, seriously man. It's SICK. AMAZING.

I can't wait now...

Gav, Awesome work!!

I think if you flatten the tube a bit at a time ( and not all at once)... till you get the right ellipse shape I think that should eliminate the flat spots.

This is if your using a roller to do the job.
hope it helps.(y)

that's where the trigger lock would go. a red piece of plastic that snaps in place there. it was removed for esb.
