ESB correct sidearm interest topic

well, knowing there might be some interest in this sidearm i might be willing to loan one of my pieces to a talented member here to make copies. and having been in contact with a certain member here, i'm convinced mojo-fett could do a great job on supplying copies for the members here. so basically depending on the interest i might go ahead and loan it to him, to make his moulds. the plan is to provide a copy with aluminum and resin/plastic pieces. if you have any questions i'm sure mojo will be glad to answer them.

if there is not enough interest we will scrap the idea.

mojo just asked me to post this update. he's ready to start the run, and is taking payments now. the price for the sidearm is $199 shipping is extra and will be calculated based on your location. any questions regarding shipping, and production should be mailed to mojo. all payments need to be made to mojo. the first 46 members on the list will receive a pm from me as well, letting them know that production is about to begin.

I just need one that passes the GML on screen test ( ie 501st quality). I mean Really this is pointless in the end unless, they are charging an obscene amount of money for them in which case we would all hunt for a authentic pulce 40 ro whatever on e bay an in diving shops. I am sure they will be reasonable considering my converted nintendo zapper passed 501st inspection.
Furthermore knowing their reps I'm sure they will be beautiful. their reps alone is why I want to upgrade.

Hey bud, the base of the grip will probably be open as I wanna cast it just like the original and will keep weight down too.
The holes, I assume you're referring to the small ones at the trigger guard? these will be filled.

My advice on casting…. For whatever it’s worth is to cast the gun as close to the unaltered speargun as possible… oh and while hyperfirm would be cool for trooping, those of us that are more of collectors, I’d prefer resin, that way I can clean the mold lines, etc easily.

mojo is working on the molds, getting prices on the aluminum parts, unfortunately he's got a few projects going at the same time. i'm sure he's gonna update soon.

Yep sorry guys... been a tad busy?

But fingers crossed this Friday I shall have my sample set of Ali parts that have been measured using Micrometers and vernier calipers than CAD drawn by me to then run through the CNC process...
I'll post some pretty pics and I know I'm gonna get a loads of questions about costs

please bear with me on this subject, but rest assured the Ali parts alone are very reasonable!
