ESB correct sidearm interest topic

Ok folks, here's my first coat of Red Oxide.... need to wait 15 mins between each coat.... Once fully coated, i'll start with the first layer of weathering on the grip to add dark weathering...
Then onto the main Ali barrel afterwards using gunmetal... :)

Will post a few updates on Sunday, gonna give this base colour at least 24hrs to dry solidly, then i'll spray on the black (very lightly) and then dry brush with silver....

May use a little bit of Gold too.... may as well bling it up...let's face it, the blaster has never been out of the holster..... lol

I'm gonna use gunmetal spray on the Ali barrel and then use steel wool to give an added weather effect... (well that's the plan...)
 
OK folks, I applied some gunmetal spray to the grip and this is what it looks like now...
What do you think? Big change from the initial base layer?
Have also sprayed the Ali barrel and muzzle... (may rub off a bit more paint though... lol)
I just have the trigger to add and some light dry brushing and that it.....

I´ll bump here because i´m interested in a Mojo Fett sidearm. i spoke with him and if any other interests, he will eventually make a small run.

I would have to agree. I managed to get one of these from Kurtyboy and I really think it is top notch. Anyone sitting on the fence should pipe up now. You won't regret it if you do but you may well regret it if you don't.
