hey everyone, got some pics i would like some feedback on...i have some people wanting me to make these capes, and i would like to do a good job for them, since this is my first crack at producing something for someone else...i know that a few of the pics are out of focus, sorry for that, but you can get the idea of how i am weathering my cape at the bottom, and i will try to get some better ones up this weekend...now, i have yet to do the "bullet" holes, but those will be done hopefully this weekend...i am building my son a play gym as well, so things are a little slower on the BOBA costume progress....darn kids!! well, he's getting a BOBA costume for his B-Day too, so thats cool!!! what a cool dad i am... ok, back to business....i also have not done anything with the paint to weather it that way either, and probably wont when i make them for others....just the stitching, so you guys can weather with the paint the way you want too...we all see that differently...but hey, give me your feedback please, so i can do a good job for those wanting one....i have to say, right now i have 3 people who want me to make one for them....it is nearing the end of school, so i have to stop at the first 5, for now...noone else may not be interested, these 3 may not be after they see the pics on mine... but if you do want one, the first 5 on this run until summer...ill keep you posted, and pm me if interested....thanks for the feedback guys, i will do my best for ya!!:)

Maybe it is just the lighting in the pic, but the colors look just a little bit off.
Using this as a reference:

The brown/tan color looks just a tad too dark. And the colored stripe looks a bit too red. Seems like it should be more orange.
The ripped bottom edge looks good, just a little fraying could make it perfect. Throw it in the wash, oughta do the trick.
I know you said you hadn't done the "bullet holes" yet, and weathering is just personal preference.
There's my two cents, just MY perception mind you. I'd wait for more feedback from someone who knows more of what they are talking about, before you take what I had to say into serious consideration. Fantastic start though.

ya, pete, i took the pics in my shop this morning, and the lighting sucks...the darker brown is more orangish than what it looks....not as orange as tk's though, but i could probably find material that is more that color...thanks for the feedback!

dimensions are 15"X7"X8",thanks to gcngamer, i believe, he told me in a previous thread....:) total dimensions are 30"X36".

Hey Darrell..

Looking good so far (Maybe a little more weathering), I have a TK409'S cape and I have just one comment?
The centre panel *looks* a little too red rather than the orange/tan colour? ;)

thanks for the input guys!!! i looked for more orange material when i began this cape, but to no avail...this stuff just caught my eye, and i went for it...ya know, when you cant find exactly what you are looking for, and get frustrated, then BAM!! there's something that is close and will do the job...;)
